Its obvious that you have never had a good genuine reading from Tarot or you would not say these things.
I agree that there are a lot of con artists out there, but I do know some genuine people who have a great talented gift.
They use Tarot as a tool and can help you to understand what may be happening in your life. Many people have been helped in this way, so I think that your statement is unfair to both client and reader. You are entitled to your opinion, but Tarot readers will always be here, and people will always use their advice.
Not all people who use Tarot are desperate people far from it, some are pillars of the society but they trust their usual reader. If you dont believe it then nobody is forcing you to go to them.
Some people go to the pub and get drunk, some use drugs, some people like a bet, or go to bingo,or do sporty things...
there are lots of ways to entertain yourself and this is just one of them. Most poeple find it interesting and amusing and some find it helpful. Takes all kind.........

hi Sweeta there are hundreds of Tarot card decks, many diverse designs, each and every reader has to bypass to what they're attracted to as they're people who could build a relationship with them. There are additionally many diverse layouts, with maximum experienced readers transforming into their own. some readers won't permit yet another touch their deck, others will. definite order concerns, yet some use tarot as a stepping stone, so the playing cards are beside the point, some use the playing cards on my own. Horoscopes, the day to day planning you can read in your local paper.. that I don't believe in but the descriptions of ppl under those signs can be quite accurate.
Tarots completely different, it relies on another ability, esp. The cards rely on energy given by the asked which is why the phone and tv ones can be a little hard to believe. The cards are pictures so natrually thay are open to the interpritation of the reader and the readers skill. So yes the answers will vary from reader to reader. I don't think their all cons, I've had my cards read and read cards myself and yes some of the stuff that came out really did happen. Take this for example. A woman was told her son was very ill and went to a medium to ask if he would live... the medium said she couldn't see beyong 5 years. The woman thought she meant her son would die in 5 years, but the 5 years came and went and her son was fine. She later learnt it was the medium who died in 5 years not her son. Its all open to interpritation. If you don't believe then that's fine but don't knock those that do, it might be all that's keeping them going.

To a point I think you are right some people are diehard believers and will not start their day without checking their daily horoscope. I look at them but as they apply generally then the reading for Aries applies to all aries in the world so its bound to happen to someone !!
Over the past week I have seen exactly the same wording for my horoscope under 4 different Astrologers names they are either all psychic or they all need to get a new book with daily horoscopes to pick from.

I’m not one to say one is right and one is wrong but these things are totally different as far as usage & prediction goes. I would not rule the both of them out so quickly as to say that their purely cons, you may be surprised!!
Horoscope signs are determined by the astrology of where the planets locations are as to when you are born - kinda’ a science. As to how the little daily quips came about, I’m not so sure those are as accurate. As you already know those little things are often wrong and are always a general statement about something. They’re fun for a daily piece of info, but I wouldn’t put much stock in them. “Having a heart to heart conversation with yourself today will get you grounded.” Come on, that’s stupid, ok…well that’s mine for today!?! I have found that people’s characteristics that are predicted from their signs are semi-accurate. Not sure how this was determined but I will give astrology big-ups on that one!
Tarot is the opposite of a science. As far as Tarot goes, this is more of a medium people can work with, just like a black scrying mirror, remote viewing (which was actually trained by soldiers in our U.S. military) or even your dreams or projections. Tarot takes a little bit more time to work with and isn’t for everyone but once your able to master tarot, it’s considered magick (not an illusion, or a con). Tarot is often used by metaphysics’, pagans, wiccans, and others who aren’t easily rattled by the new age. These types of people have a decent spiritual capacity for working with these mediums, but that’s not to say that anyone else out there can’t work with Tarot as well. Just don’t pick up a deck and start the formations if you’re spiritually numb or you may as well work with a playing card deck, for you’ll get the same results (nothing). These may be the con-artists you’ve ran across, I know I sure as hell have met my fair share of carnies as well!! I have worked briefly with tarot and I will say that I believe it’s aimed more accurately and can be more specific than a daily love horoscope, heh ~ depending on your level of expertise.
Hope this helps out!!

You never can be to sure where, you might find the truth. Inspiration can come to you in many unexpected ways. You can not make blanket statements about all people who use certain tools, to help facilitate their ability, to help or inspire people. Some do a better job than others. Some are negative, manipulative and deceptive, others do comfort people similar to a religious professionals., One always, has to be careful who you choose in any profession, to help you. No one should predict the future for anyone, it is not fixed, since one can alway alter or improve on it. One can shorten ones future real fast, by not watching, before crossing the street.

gavin green is just the same as those fake phycics,he's telling you what is,he is right there are con artist and people out to get money from you a real clarvoyant wouldnt want anything it is a gift they have to give through no choice of there own.
I think you should start listening to yourself a bit more and not seek others advice to much .not all things are we meant to know and the future is the future or it would be the present.
you have the answers to all those questions inside you .yor just to afraid or dont want to admit the answers.
write ten questions.answer them without thinking start with yes no's then progress,
eg. what is yor best colour .answer instanly within 3 seconds,
or it dont count mabe no one colour is your fave, be yor own side kick [phycic} xxx

i don't think any of them are. the future is what you make of it. and if any of that tarot stuff does come true, its more of the believe you put into it, and continuously look for clues which would be normal any other time. its life. it is what you make of it, and not what the cards tell you.

Next Question could be which God is the real God, Jewish God, Christian God, Muslim God?
People put their faiths in many things, just because it doesn't work for you, doesn;t mean you have to knock it!
