NOT IF ITS HILLARY!
Hillary is Bush 2 in disguise. Gender has NOTHING to do with being a good or bad president.

The country would be very different. Let's take two examples, Condaleezza Rice and Hillary Clinton.
If Condaleezza Rice were President, foreign countries would not dare mock her the way they do Bush. It would be so "politically incorrect" to denigrate a black woman. It would be much harder for people, especialy foreigners, to dredge up the type of vitriolic hatred they have for white male Presidents. They are an easy target, but say the same things about a black woman and you'll be labeled a racist, so people will either keep their mouths shut, or think a lot more before speaking.
If Condi were President, blacks could hardly claim discrimination to the extent they do today. Already, we have a black on the Supreme Court, and at all levels of government (though only one in the Senate, I believe).
Condaleezza Rice is an accomplished negotiator, and our relations with foreign countries would improve remarkably.
If Hillary were President, she would likely be embroiled in many controversies, just as she and Bill were when he was President.
Hillary appears to be even more paranoid and power hungry than Richard Nixon. In the book, "Her Way: The Hopes and Ambitions of Hillary Rodham Clinton" by Jeff Gerth and Don Van Natta Jr, it is revealed that Hillary purchased a high tech scanner to monitor cellular telephone conversations. It is logical to conclude by her past performance and actions that, if she became President, she would alienate a lot of the people around her.
If Hillary became President, I think the pressure would finally make her crack psychologically. She is not that tough emotionally. I think she would embarrass herself.
Condi is the opposite. She is as hard as nails. She has negotiated with the toughest foreign leaders, and show remarkable composure and skill. She is unflappable.
Condi has a lifetime of solid accomplishment, while Hillary only pursues power. In Hillary's stint as Senator, she drafted no bills at all. As a Senator, her "accomplishments" have been negligible. She only used the Senate seat as a platform to get into the White House.

There is only one woman running for President and what has she ever accomplished that would indicate that she deserves to be President? Nothing. She married Bill Clinton. For this dubious accomplishment, she was given the position of Senator from NY. On her own, all she has managed to do is drive poor Vince Foster to commit suicide, over saw the White Water FRAUD, and made a killing in the futures market with the help of insider trading.
She is married to a rapist, sexual harasser, and seller of pardons (and probably a lot more). She has taken no actions against a husband whose philandering is well document in gigantic proportions, and for this she is about to be coronated Queen of the USA? Good Lord, she is THE least qualified of all the Presidential candidates!

Hell no, a good woman Vice President would be a great thing to come upon in 2008; but no offense to women, but the world wouldn't take the US seriously with a women president (the Middle East and Eastern countries don't look at a women the same people in the US do).

If we're talking about a qualfied woman, then not much different. They would pursue a course and direction based on their strengths and goals - just like any good President before them. Certainly, she would bring a feminine perspective, but I don't think that that would be overwhelming the business of the country.

I believe America is ready for a female president, as long as it is not Hillary Clinton or Nancy Pelosi. Both Clinton and Peolsi are Lazy Incompetent And Reckless Sinners (or LIARS) who do not have the leadership to run the country.

Yes, a woman would look at things differently. There may be a standoff between her and Congress. First thing she would have to do is undo all the things the present administration has done to gain respect again.

It will be, when Hillary is president. She raised a very well put together child in Chelsea. Never gave a scandal, never threw a fit that humilliated her parents. A good mother knows how to lead a country.
Look at the accomplishments of Nefertiti, Queen Elizabeth, Cleopatra... When women have the last word and men aren't monopolizing their actions, they rock the world.
