If the piece is wide use two pieces of wood to sandwich the plexi when bending. If small it is rather easy. On oven is a great place to heat the plexi to a point where you can bend it. A heat gun can be used with caution or on small pieces that are not very thick you can see if your hair drier will help you.

Good Luck!

How To Bend Plexiglass

I have bent plexi into shapes by using the oven. Placed the strips on a cookiesheet and set the oven at 250. Keep checking so it does not get too hot. Use gloves as it will really burn you.

I don't think you can bend plexiglass on your own if you want it to be strong. It probably needs to be heated and bent in a special machine. Or molded in the bend.

Best bet would be to go somewhere like TAP plastic and see if they can bend it for you or if you can buy some prebent stuff.

no longer purely can it bend ninety tiers it may form into loose floating balls, quite a few forks, ribbons, or it may come down in sheets. Lightning seeks to floor itself out. It seeks the shortest course to floor and it will take any course to get there, despite if it incorporates a ninety degree perspective. the place ball lightning comes from continues to be arguable.

Why not just epoxy 2 pieces together at right angles? There are great solvents for doing work with plexi.

the most effencient way would be mark the pieces evenly as required per bracket

heat with a propane torch along the area to be bent

using a smooth board or something similar

fold along the edge of your line to your desired angle

hold a minute so it will cool properly

and carefully set aside

good luck with your shelving unit
