The answer to your immediate question "did the Jews ethnically cleanse palestinian lands" Is yes.
In 1948 there where 400 Palestinian towns and villages, where have they gone?
Well Israel literally built ontop of them, changed the name and tore down what they didnt like and kept what they did like for themselves, although today Israel has a prominant arab population that doesnt mean Israel never purged the country side of Arabs and Arab villages although Israel is not wholly to blame for this if you look at the 1948 war.
To Mark S, whether or not their is a Palestinian state there is a Palestinian identity, peopel see themselves as being Palestinian somewhat like there is a Kurdish identity but not a Kurdish state.
The only difference here is that a Palestinian state is going to be formally created at soem point.
I do not endorse Suicide bombings Mark, they are acts of desperation-maybe i can explain that to you in a PM how they are acts of desperation.
But Israel today has more then its fair share of blame for problems in the area.
One example is even today Israel flyies there fighter jets low over towns in the west bank and then the jets go supersonic at a low alitutde, they scare women into having problems during birth and scare children among other things.

It''s just incomprehensible, how people deny Israel's wrong doing and yet come to defend those greedy monsters.
Jews were invited to Palestine as guests, with open arms i might add, then they start taking over the land, bit by bit!
EVEN to Jews, what was given by UN wasn't good/big enough so, they should have/take more and more,...!
Their greed haven't been fed still, as of this moment!
And funny of all, they don't even recognize Palestine any more and every single Jew has its own story or version!! to tell.
As Ive seen in many documentaries (probably, mention this b4), Jews choose a location then bring couple of mobile homes and if some one objects, they'll claim that, they've bought the land from an Arab and its paid in full !! Thus, they keep bringing more mobile homes day after day, after day,......till they make their own little community and so and so!
This act or style!, is still on going as of this very moment!
SO, i wonder how could some say 'NO' to your Que.!
Even, hypocrisy has its limit!

actually you are right. Jerusalem had a jewish majority for centuries. then in 1948, arabs took it by force and removed any jewish presence from jerusalem. not a single jew remained. also Hebron, which had jews for thousands of years was ethnically cleansed, and Gaza as well. (yes, jews lived in Gaza for centuries). so are many other places. the fact is that after 1948, not a single jew could be found in any area conquered by arabs. they completely ethnically cleansed it. BIGOTS!

Yes, and you can thank Britain and the United States for making it happen.
They originally planned to put the European Jews in Uganda, but the white Jews in Europe did not want to be surrounded by blacks, so they chose to put them in Palestine instead.

Muslims serve on the Israeli Knesset. How many jews are in Muslim governments? A lot of things were being said in 1940, a little guy in Germany was screaming about making Jews extinct and almost did, now we have Muslims in Iran repeating those words.

What a ridiculous question. Please explain how the Jews could have 'Ethnically Cleanse' Palestinian Lands? They sure could not have done a very good job, since the Arabs are still there.

There are still a lot of muslims in Israel.....how many jews in arab countries?
Fun Facts:
the number of Arabs in Israel is calculated as 1,413,500 people or 19.8% of the Israeli population (2006).
Muslim Israelis have the highest birthrate of any group: 4.0 children per woman.
Palestinian Arabs sat in the state's first parliamentary assembly; currently, 12 of the 120 members of the Israeli Parliament are Arab citizens, most representing Arab political parties and one of Israel's Supreme Court judges is a Palestinian Arab
Arabic is one of Israel's official languages
""Israeli Arabs are relatively much better off economically than neighboring Arabs."[84] In addition, according to a recent poll of Arab-Israelis conducted by the Israeli Democracy Institute, found that 75% of Arab-Israelis would support a Jewish state of Israel so long as its constitution guaranteed rights for minorities:"
In January 2004, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon declared that every state-run company must have at least one Arab-Israeli on its board of directors.
Ali Yahya, an Arab Muslim, became the first Israeli Arab ambassador in 1995 when he was appointed ambassador to Finland. He served until 1999, and in 2006 was appointed ambassador to Greece. Other Arab ambassadors include Walid Mansour, a Druze, appointed ambassador to Vietnam in 1999, and Reda Mansour, also a Druze, a former ambassador to Ecuador. Mohammed Masarwa, an Arab Muslim, was Consul-General in Atlanta. In 2006, Ismail Khaldi was appointed Israeli consul in San Francisco, becoming the first Bedouin consul of the State of Israel.
-----------------------------------
There is however a great deal of discrimination towards muslim arab israelis, that is very true.
It is still however, better than that of pretty much the whole middle east and central asia in comparison

No. Since there never was a "Palestinian state" to begin with, nothing was ever taken away. You really need to get your facts straight before making a statement like that.
And as far as I know, there have been no deliberate, offensive mass killings of anyone--oh, unless you want to include those people who blow themselve up in crowded markets, or those people who are dedicated to "pushing Israel into the sea". You do want to include those people in a fair discussion, right?

Nope- there were no Palestinian Lands. The Palestinians were squatters under the Ottoman Empire.
Besides, the Jews didn't "Ethnically Cleanse" anybody EVER! There are still many Palestinians living happily in Israel, side by side.
Isn't the situation in the Middle East complicated enough without you telling lies to stir people up?

Pretty much yeah.
"There is no such thing as a Palestinian people... It is not as if we came and threw them out and took their country. They didn't exist."

"How can we return the occupied territories? There is nobody to return them to."
