If you have no complaints then why are you complaining? If the woman treats you good then the two of you should sit down and talk about the future and start by setting a wedding date if that is what the two of you want. I was engaged for 3 1/2 years before I was married my first time.

If you have no complaints there is no reason to leave yet but talk to her and try to find out why the long wait. Is she waiting to finish school, waiting for you to finish school, afraid that you might not be as happy together once you are married, or perhaps even have issues of trust. You have to talk to her to find these things out before deciding whether to leave or to stay.

The marriage won't fall from the sky, or you won't wake up one day and you will be married. Do you expect that someone else will set the date or plan a wedding for you? The way you said it, it sounds like it.

My question is why didn't you set the date? Why didn't you start planning? Does your fiancee refuse to set the date but it makes no sense. Why would she say "yes" then?

Talk to your fiancee first, and then you can decide.

The question here is not whether you should stay or go, but why haven't you two started planning the wedding?! Why are you stalling?

I got married seven months after we became engaged.

Two years is too long to be engaged. Either break up with her or jump in and start planning the wedding.

Have you asked her when she would like to get married? Does she have reasons why she wants to wait? A friend of mine wanted to wait until her student loans were paid off, another waited to pay off credit card debt, another wanted to get her pre-baby body back first. She must be saying something. Sit down and ask her when she would like to start planning.

If you are anxious to start planning your wedding, talk to her about it. If she doesn't seem interested in setting a date or planning anything out, then maybe you should reevaluate your goals with each other.

It sounds like you're complaining. Think about it.
