It depends what country you live in.It usually is against allot of moral and legal laws.Fidelity is a touchy subject and is paramount in any kind of hope for a long-lasting,trusting relationship. If you understand what i have just said then you wont have a problem in knowing right from wrong. If you don't understand ,you are either not ready for marriage or not serious about it.
Enough said about this sophomoric question.

It is in some states. I think it should be illegal in EVERY state!!! It is breaking God's Law though. It is an immoral thing to do. Also, if you are caught in the act, your spouse can kill the both of you and could very well get off scott free. And they should.

depends on what state u live in, but it is against god's law, and u might go for years with no problems than suddenly your world begins to go wrong, and things begin to happen, as u reap what u sow, and eventually everything bad u do to someone else will come back to u.

No, it's just grounds for divorce.
However, I think it should be against the law. Too many families have been ruined because of it.

Not here in this state. But I think you may be held to a higher authority.
Keep in mind, ultimately you will not be judged on the commitments you make but rather the commitments you keep.
Good luck (to your spouse)
