Roger Zelazney's Amber Chronicles.
It is available in one great big book now. There is also an encyclopedia for it.

James Patterson has a series he wrote just for your age about several kids who are 80% human and 20% bird. They have wings and they can fly and they get pursued by other flying creatures. They have some superpowers (sort of). They are stronger than normal humans and have both human and bird organs. The series is called Maximum Ride. Max is the leader and she is also the oldest. There are three books in the series so far. I have read about 1/2 of the middle one. But if you like fantasy, you should like this.

You should read either The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher or the Nightside series by Simon R. Green.
I think the first series is better (and it improves as it goes). Both are fantasy, and both are pretty fun. They are adult books, but you should be able to handle them at your age. They are pretty easy and quick. A lot like the ones you have listed there. You can always try His Dark Materials too.

No stupide things like the unfortunate Baudelaire series.
I just finish reading the lord of the ring in french and it' really different from the actual movie. The movie was cool but missing a lot of details.
Silver wing is a really boring book but takes a lot of time to read but when you really get into it, it's not so bad.
If you like comic books, i suggest you to read the bone series and a really really good french series called Merlin. It's really funny but not realisic. It's hard to find the really the one merlin book that i'm talking about but it's like there's a monstr in it that like to eat cheese and children.

If your 14 and you have read all those books and your into magic and shooting you really need to find a better way to spend your time. You are a total nerd and need friends. Let me bet your homeschooled. I actually kind of feel bad for you. Have you ever talked to a girl that isnt your mom or cousin.
