I like to be an optimist but as I've advanced my career and education I'm forced to become a realist because of my experience with ineffective systems.

I am actually an Optimist ....My ultimate goal is to be a Hopeful Realist because I get sick of getting disappointed

I always try to go for hopeful realism.....but I'll admit to my pessimistic nature at times.It would be nice if we all went for hopeful realism at least for one day.....I wonder what the world would be like?

I am, annoyingly, a realist. I can play devil's advocate to almost any situation, whether I agree with it or not, and find myself doing so even when I shouldn't...as much as it would be nice to be an optimist, I just don't think I'm dumb enough to be.

I talk about this all the time because the people I work with think when you talk about an issues, or problem you are being negative....I keep saying no I am being realistic. Thanks for agreeing with me. I am a hopeful realist!!! and think it is the best!
