The suicide bombers had nothing to do with iraq because 12 out of the 15 bombers lived in Saudi Arabia while 2 lived in jordan and one in Islam.

America didn't ASSUME any country. They assumed people and then assumed which governments were harboring those people. When they were sure of the people they also discovered who was running the operations and where they were being supported from.

Which led them to Afghanistan....now Iraq is a whole different story.

It wasn't the American government, it was the Bush family. The scenario had been set up a decade earlier, by George the elder, during the first Gulf war, that if the opportunity to topple Saddam occurred, then they could use our Armed Forces to take over Iraq and wrest control of the incredibly lucrative Iraqi oil fields from native Iraqis, and reap the vast wealth for themselves, under the guise of "eliminating a terrorist threat". They really didn't care how many American or Iraqi lives it cost, as long as they got richer than they already were. Of course, they couldn't do it alone, so they secretly offered fortunes to whomever they could get to assist them in their evil scheme. What they hadn't planned on, was that it would take as long as it has, and that they would suffer so much resistance. They probably planned 9/11 as well, so that all this could take place.

They didn't.

The American government did not blame Iraq for that attack. It was established pretty quickly that it was al Qaeda and the Taliban, and that's why the U.S.'s first response was to topple the Taliban in Afghanistan and to go after al Qaeda throughout the world.

Iraq was a separate issue. The international community (not just the U.S.) had a nervous eye on Hussein for a long time. After the al Qaeda attack in 2001, however, many people in many countries felt that it was justifiable to bring down Hussein's government before he (or terrorists that he supported) could do something similar. Whether that was a good idea is of course still hotly debated today, and I won't go into all that.

sorry - when the FBI and CIA start an investigation
they don't ASSume anything

they go where the facts lead them

even when our deputy was killed in our county when he chased a drug dealer into the woods - there was a containment team - and a secondary team got the cell phone
he left in the vehicle - and garnished the numbers and contacts in case he used them for his attempted escape

you cannot make solid decisions on assumptions -
you have to know the facts

like - did you know one of the pilots was forced out of prison
by a US President

fact - Bill Clinton had his secretary of state Warren Christopher pressure Israel to release Mohammed Atta,
even though Atta had 'blood' on his hands

Atta repaid the US by flying a plane into the World Trade Center

fact - the current problems in Iraq could be severely lessened
if WE closed the borders - as the bombers are coming from Iran and Saudi Arabia - but that's not gonna happen

Looking for scapegoats for the preplanned middle east invasion set forth in the Project for a New American Century or PNAC as it is more commonly referred to. Watch them come up with reasons to go into Iran and Syria also. Shut down the elites that run this corrupt government or we will be sheep in the slaughter.
Google Federal reserve, Bilderberg group and Council on foreign relations then you will know you answer.

The sucide bombers were in a terroist group called akida. Akida operates within iraq and branches all over the world. the FBI and CIA put every man on finding the scum and made sure that everything added up before they came to a conclusion.rather or not the plan was the right one afterwards... the world may never know

They did not assume it was Iraq. They knew immediately they were from the Middle East and sought haven in Saudia Arabia and easy passage in and out of the US as businessmen or students. And what country is Islam?

They knew it wasn't Iraq, but rather Bin Laden. They knew that because they knew it was going to happen. They eventually linked the two to help there Iraq invasion case. Now they say they never said Iraq had anything to do with it.

Wow, that was 6 years ago, and still some people don't know the real answer. Well the government wanted to get into iraq becuase, iraq is reach in petroleum, and in order for this country to get more powerfull, they need more resources. and one rich resource is petroleum, so they invented an excuse, by demolating the twin towers or bombing them, becuase they think that it is more worthy the power, and the petroleum, than the killing of thousand of people, the 2 towers and killing of troops.

No one assumed it was Iraq. It was a good excuse, though, right? It's kind of silly to go after a country accusing it of harboring terrorists, while what was done to the terrorist's country of orgin (Afghanastan) was weak and unproductive.
