Joey Bishop died this week and there went the last of the "Rat Pack".

Ten Points to the first person that can correctly tell me who started the Rat Pack.

I really dig music from those guys: Frank, Dino, Sammy (I still listen). Briefly - something special Frank singing with Ella Fitzgerald - I HAVE THAT ON DVD and it's AWESOME! The antics of Peter and Joey - what a group of Entertainers! They don't make them this way anymore - trust me on this one. Don't get me wrong - I'm a modern guy and listen to alot of different modern music, Classic Rock and especially enjoy Classical Music; but, one has to admit that these 5 were perfect for the time.

Subprimelendor takes the prize on this. Fickle 1 thanks for the detail but the Mortgage Broker above you takes the cake on this one.

Thanks to all but 1 for your decent answers. That 1 idiot is now blocked from me.

I'm not sure about who started it. Probably Sammy or Dino. We've got a kinda now days rat pack. George, Brad, Matt. Their no where as interesting as the original though. They will always be classic and the best. I used to love the Dean Martin Roasts. They were great.

Bogie and Bacall first started the Rat Pack in their Holmby Hills home, calling it The Holmby Hills Rat Pack.
