Yes, I hate that and I found a way to cure it. I ignore my phone most of the time. lol

Yeah at my old job i would pick up the phone and say...Thank U 4 calling and that was all i could get out before the other person would talk over me. And if it was a recording they were already half way through before i even got the phone to my ear.

I have the number of an old restaurant cleaning company. I get a lot of fax calls. I pick up and hear "bringggggggg." More annoying than talking.

I don't think a word has been invented yet for the way I feel about people doing that.
This girl I used to work used to do that and I would yell at her for it and she STILL did it! Goofy thing.

Never has happened to me yet . . but if it did, it's no big deal . . I'd just ask the person to repeat whatever I did not hear!
