why is britney spears getting such a hard time?

I mean this is only a young girl trying to make a go of things with her life in the public eye. There seems to be a feeling out there that people want to see her fail. I am not really a fan of hers or anything but in my opinion what is happening to her is basically amounting to bullying. How would we feel if every decision or mistake we made was broadcast and scrutinised by the media every day?

Oh boo for Britney.
At first I felt bad, everybody plastering her every flaw everywhere. But then the whole thing with her kids happened. Let's just say for arguements sake that all the crap we here about her giving her babies coke in their bottles, doing drugs in front of them, and just being a poor mom in general, is not true. And she is really a good mom, the media are vultures that won't leave her alone, are spreading lies about her, etc. etc.
Then why, WHY, are her kids completely taken away from her now? Huh/ Do you know what it takes for a judge to take away a mother's rights to her children?!? A lot. And the FACT is that he took them because she is STILL dodging her COURT ORDERED drug and alcohol screening, she wasn't answering her door on her visitation days with her kids, she wasn't showing up to court days, she's not doing ANYTHING the judge ordered her too, she was in Vegas when her kids were having a party, and she's JUST A MESS!
Celebrity or not, in the public eye or not, picked on by media or not, she is a MOM FIRST, or at least she should be.
If she gave two sh!ts about her kids she would be LISTENING TO THE JUDGE and doing what he told her she needed to do in order to keep her children. She obviously doesn't care. And that is so sad and upsetting that when they were finally taken away from her even visiting yesterday I STOPPED FEELING BAD FOR HER. What a terrible mom she has been, and I'm not talking about the stupid hyped paparazzi stuff. The judge said she needs to do this, this, and this, and she can keep her kids. She did nothing, nothing, and nothing, and now she can't even see her little boys.
What a dumb b*tch to do that to her children. She needs to get it together, STOP making excuses for herself, and do what she needs to do FOR HER KIDS, not her career, so they will not be f-ed up their whole lives.
She sickens me now, I feel nothing but disgust and pity.

All celebrities tend to keep things private and personal and say what they want the public to hear so no one even their biggest fans know what is behind the camera and the media. Britney Spears is engaged to Jason Trawick so there is something about him, something about him that others don't see which is the reason as to why Britney Spears has said yes to the proposal. When someone meets someone they do judge each other from looking at their appearance and their style but when someone marries someone they think about the way that they feel when around each other. When in 70 years from now you want to be with someone that you have things in common with, someone that could talk too, someone that could make you smile because the appearance does not last forever.

Yeah come on seriously, i had felt bad for her too. But she even missed the first day she got to visit them.

I've grown up around a mother (not mine, but my mums friend) who's just as bad as Britney... Recently her youngest went into hospital for burns all down the side of it's face and shoulder... the baby was less than a year old. The neighbours were the ones who took the baby to the hospital!
People like this just weren't meant to be mums. they're too selfish and just want their own lives. Don't feel sorry for someone who doesn't want to be a mum and only wants to put in half the effort. I don't care if she's a singer and has a busy career... 'cause she's not spending most of her time on that either (vma performance), it's just herself and being a drunk, drug-uped, sexed-up, whiny, self-loathing, ***** who deserves everything she gets.

If she didn't deserve any of this... then why has all this happened? God, it upsets me just knowing someone like her is out there in the world... and knowing her kids are so innocent and helpless in all this. But then it tears me up inside to know how much more money they already have then me, and i'll never even get to dream of that amount. So i'm sure the boys will get over it with their millions of dollars... unless their dad has spent it all by the time they're 10.

God! To the people who stick up for Britney, do you not care at all 'bout her kids? Or just because you like her and her music, you think she should be left alone to treat her kids however she wants? Cause the courts have proved... she's not good enough for them, even with millions of dollars. That must say a lot about Britney.

She pretty much had no childhood, and I think that really contributed to the way she is now. She has been (since the 90s) a huge star with paparazzi following her everywhere, so her recent "crazy" antics have been posted everywhere. you have ot admit she HAS done some crazy stuff (yesterday she ran over someones foot and fled the scene, two days after settling her previous hit and run in august)
