Yes! Our first apartment was haunted. Weird things started happening. Usual stuff at first that could be thought of as us just being crazy or having a good imagination but after awhile we knew something was up. The first thing that made us really consider that something was wrong was a few hours after my husband left for work I heard something that sounded like he was cooking in the kitchen. I heard like a sizzling sound and then like silverware on plates. I went in the kitchen and the George Foreman grill was on but my husband was not home. I told him when he came home from work to not leave the grill on! And I also told him about how I turned it off and everything. His face went white and he told me that he was running late this morning and he didn't even cook anything!
The chains on our bedroom ceiling fan used to swing violently like if someone came over and hit them with something and this used to happen most times when me and my husband were in bed almost asleep with our fan not even on! Even the shaded glass thing that covers the bulb has fallen once on my husbands leg when we were sleeping.
Another thing was for almost a week and a half straight we heard loud clomping noises like someone wearing heavy boots was coming up the stairs in the evening (we used to live on the 3rd floor) and then when the sound got to where it should be right by our door the sound stopped. We looked out the peep hole and didn't see anything!
My husband especially said that he used to feel like somebody was watching him but he when he used to look up to see if someone was there he always had a feeling it was a little kid cuz he used to look right at a little kid's level.
Also, we've found marbles in the middle of our kitchen floor, and neither of has have marbles. My balloons from my birthday were in one room when I left to go to work and when I came back they were moved to a different room. When talking about it, we both felt that there were a few different spirits in the house. At some times we were scared when we felt like there was this presence of an older man. But at times when we felt like there was a child, we weren't scared. Also, things of mine were always missing and moved. Especially jewelery and little odds and ends. I thought my husband pawned my one necklace and I searched all over the apartment. My husband denied it and helped me to look.. He offered to buy me another necklace similar. I refused. Months later it showed up in my dresser right there out in the open. I yelled at my husband like endlessly for taking it and he repeatedly denied it. To this day, I truly believe that we had ghosts in our apartment. We moved apartments to another building (but still in the same area). No one ever lives in our old apartment for long. I have never talked to the people who live there but I can bet that they've had some pretty weird experiences too.

I have had several encounters. One was at a hotel in Vancouver, Canada in July 2006. We were at a sci fi convention and many weird things were happening to people in one area of the hotel: a maid's vacuum caught on fire, one lady was thrown across her bed--in front of 3 friends, lights were doing weird stuff, the fire alarm went off, etc. The last day of the conference, at the closing party, I had taken a few photos with a digital camera and when we went up to the room to download them to the laptop, I noticed an aura around and across the guest of honor's head. We enlarged the area and there were 2 faces superimposed over his face. 2 not so nice faces. We made copies and took them back downstairs to the party.

No ghosts. Why are you asking this question? Has something frightened you?
You can convince yourself of anything in the right circumstances, anything. And there are people who make a lot of money, make themselves feel important, and hurt others by pretending they can talk to the dead. Leave it alone and you will only see life. You will have plenty of time when you eventually die to know the rest of the story.

I hate to admitt it by I do and I am always sceptical at first and try to determine a scientific reason behide what I have experienced or seen. Personally I believe that people and places can be haughted as to speak. As a Young child staying in my grandparents house there was one room that scared the life out of all the grand kids when we went to visit. I remember the fear even today 40 yrs later. How cold you would feel and how unsafe we felt when we had to stay in that room. We even got into fist fights over who would stay in that room at night. After our grandparents passed on the family tore down the old house to build a new house to sell on the market. Buried under the floor of the floor in the very room in the ground they uncovered the body of a man that they figured was buried years before they built the original house. Now I have a little girl that seems to be content to be attached to me. Some times her activities keep me awake at night until I tell her to go to bed. My wife and I have both felt her crawl onto the bed at night between our legs or she will play with my feet when they stick out from under the covers at night. At times you can hear her and you bound out of bed to catch you children out of bed and find an empty hallway instead. At first I thought it was just my imagination until my wife started asking questions on it. I hate to sound like a crank but it happens. At times I can catch a glimpse of her for the breifest of moments. She is a play little girl maybe 7-9 yrs old. Resently we discovered that where we live was once a farm and the family lost their little girl to small pocks back in 1893 and we later visited her grave site in the old town cemetary. That's my story for you to believe or not. It is up to each of us to decide what to believe. For me now I believe. There is no other explanation that I could ascertain for the experiences that we have had in our home.

i became into/kinda am, a sceptic, it extremely is why i had no problems staying in chillingham fort for charity. I experienced form new Duracell batteries loss of existence in my mp3 participant interior minutes, my cam corder became into left recording in my condominium, minutes when I left the room a wierd black circle grew from tiny, to eating the lense and then switching my digicam off. i found out approximately this after returning in an hour, however the digicam became into nonetheless charged. the main considerable area, which extremely frankly freaked me the FUC out! became right into a image. finding down the large corridor, i took a image in the direction of the properly lit front to the previous monastery, and as quickly as I appeared in a while, there became right into a woman, with a braid chasing for the period of her shoulder and into her chest. She looked as though it would have a huge receded brow, and the orbits of her eyes the place curiously deep and he or she merely looked extremely unhappy, and he or she became into donning a brown gown. I actually shat myself to work out it, and that i'll continually shop an open innovations in the direction of this form of element any further. different issues occurred too, and this became into in 40 8 hours. It gave me a sparkling faith (form of lol) merely as song is going previous, i ignore the cost if what i observed, it extremely is a shame.
