We are alive, and we breath the air, and we have feelings, and we feel pain! A tree is alive, and breathes, and has something which constitutes a brain. Otherwise the tree would not be able to communicate and mate, or whatever it is that trees do to make little trees. However the answer to your question is... We don't know, as we cannot communicate with trees to ask them !

yes and no. If you count the noise it makes as screaming and the if it's falling from a high distance, the whistling in the wind it makes then yes. Otherwise from a sane person's point of view, that's completely crazy and no it doesn't

If you are referring to the philosophical question :"If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" The answer is no. There would only sound waves but no sound because there would be no "receptors" to translate the waves into sound.

Yes, an ear piercing scream. Like a spoiled child in WalMart throwing a temper tantrum and screaming because he/she wants a toy!

Oh, God! The HUMANITY!

It actually does. I left a tape recorder in the forest once and when I retrieved it, the tape was filled with high pitched shrieks of "Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!" Sad, isn't it?

No. i strongly believe that plants/trees don't have a nerve system. however, they are able to communicate with each other. but i really don't think they can feel pain. emotion? I'm not sure?

the tree doesnt scream, but Mother Nature does , and we pay for our evil deeds and are punished by the green house environment.
every transgression against nature is a step towards the doom of humankind.
your question is interesting and deep.
