Period began last Sat Oct 13 but it was very light didnt have to use a pad till Sun. I dont have any severe pain, some light cramps but not to painful. I have been passing alot of clots from half dollar size to penny size. Today is Fri Oct 19 and Im still passing some clots and I'm still on period clots aren't that big anymore about quarter to nickel size. flow isnt that heavy anymore. Does this sound like a normal period? Were it starts light and then gets heavy and gets light again till it goes away. Could this be a normal period or a miscarriage? What does it feel when you miscarry? Do you have alot of pain? There could be a possiblity I could be pregnant but since I dont have any pain and im just woried about clots and my period almost lasting a wk need some info on miscarriage and how long your period should last? My pd usually lasted from 5days but since we have been trying to get pregnant they seem to be more abnormal and last longer. Is this normal when trying to concieve?

The difference between a heavy period and a miscarriage is a POSITIVE pregnancy test.

A test shows positive for about 2 weeks after a msicarriage, so if you were having a miscarriage it would be positive.

it is one-of-a-kind for all people. For me I bled for a month and had contractions each and every afternoon till the genuine miscarriage. When that occurred I bled genuine blood (now not uterine lining - vivid crimson blood) then handed the placentas, then handed out to be able to mattress, then got here to, had a nap and aroused from sleep and ate meals and the bleeding had stopped. But for a few ladies it is plenty faster than that. It commonly depends upon how a long way alongside you had been. Also, such a lot ladies get a D&C or hormonal pessary as soon as they have labored out she is going to miscarry. For a miscarriage should you cross it common they are meant to supply you prescription painkillers, however for me they forgot, so it used to be entirely common in each and every manner. A interval for me is four days, a few blood clots however no placentas passing and no mini-exertions in which your cervix dilates and also you move the being pregnant. Both are painful however for a miscarriage it may possibly have you ever not able to stroll.

It is normal for the period to start off light for a day or two then get heavier for a day or two and then get lighter again for another day or two til gone.

The clots are normal as well except when they are bigger than the size of a quarter. When you notice the ones that are the size of a half dollar count those because that information will be important to your doctor when recording information about your periods when trying to find out what is wrong.

This sounds like a normal period but I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they say.

noones body is the same. i cant tell you what a m\c would be like for you,for me there was no pain. jus alot of bleeding, some light ,some heavy. my advice would be for you to see your doctor. if you recently have been on the pill it maybe still in your system, depending on how long youve been off of them. even if he flow is light you may have still had a m\c. if thats the case your doctor may need to give you an antibiotic to ensure there is no infection. best for you and your future family planning if you go to the doctor to be sure.
