Need to know if this power supply can handle a amd athlod 62 x2 and a geforce 8800 gtx.

Need to know if it can handle it for sure or will it not or even its realy hard to say(Could work/could not work). So this link is the power supply i have. THx for the help.

You need a 450watt PSU to run an 8800GTX but you also have to have a minimum of 28amps on its +12V rails also and nowhere does it show what it has as far as amps goes. Should be a sticker on it showing you what the +12V rail amperage is. If there are multiple +12V rails like +12V1 and +12V2 the total needs to be at least 28amps.

Athlon64 X2 6000+ draws up 10.5 amps on the +12V rail. X2 Brisbanes draw only 5.5 amps. 8800GTX draws up to 11 amps on the +12 V rail. You would need at least 30 amps on the +12V rail if you have an X2 6000+ on a mobo w/ 6-8 phase regulator. 26 amps should be fine with X2 Brisbanes or 65W Windsors.

It looks like your power supply is outdated for modern graphics card. It DOES NOT have a PCIe power connector. The +12V rail output is not listed on the specs and may not be strong enough for the 8800 series.

It would, but you might wanna go up to 600 or even 700W.
