here are some things i have: a purple duster sweater that ties in the front i don't tie it, a black top with bell sleeves i got from hottopic, black button shirt, a blue sweater top ties also, light purple long sleeve top, a blue blazer with flowers on the inside it's just the liner, it seems ok i think, army green jacket plain. what of this stuff would be too girly for a tomboy. they are clothes i had long ago that still fit me.

Sounds like you want to be stylish yet understated. Stay tailored with simple jewelry, classic shoe styles, and crispiy ironed everything and you will feel comfortable. Tomboy does not equal sloppy. Stay with clothing that fits properly, not too baggy (my big downfall), with clean lines. Lose the sweater and army jacket unless you are willing to tie the sweater (pair it with an oxford shirt) and wear ultra-slim pants to offset the boxiness of the military look. Tasteful jewelry is the key to looking good but need not cost an arm and a leg.

Tomboys don't really care. Which is why they're tomboys. You don't have to NOT look girly, you just don't care as much if you do or don't. You can wear all that if you're a tomboy, but why does it matter? Do you really have to fit with a stupid label ALL the time? Just wondering...

is this for a halloween costume or are you a tomboy to begin with? while there's no set wardrobe for a tomboy, we usually just wear whats comfy.plain old t-shirts and jeans are common. no fuss type of things.something with flowers doesn't really give the immpression of a tomboy. i used to steal my dad's clothes cause it's what was comfortable.

I don't know if a tomboy would ask this kind of question...The tomboys I know just kind of wear whatever they want...T-shirts and shorts and stuff; hand-me-downs, things like that. Guess I didn't really answer your question, though, huh?

Whatever makes you happy, wear it. If you look like a girlie girl or a tomboy, make your oun way and style. It all sounds good to me! :)

Just wear whatever you like. You don't have to look like every single tomboy in the country. Just wear what takes your fancy.

Go emo. Nothing cooler than that. Wear black black and more black, skinny jeans and dont forget those conserve chucks.

Otherwise.... jeans, tees, and camo are a good way to go. Baggy pants, loose sweaters, dress in layers. Keep your hair simple-- keep it down or up in a ponytail.

Why are you basing your wardrobe on an artificial category you're trying to fit into? Why not just wear things you like?
