ok people who dont know what a "partyline" is its like a dating line were either u listen to peoples profiles and send them voice mails back and forth; or a bounch of people on one line and talking to each other.
i only called when i was like 12 years old i would pretend im 18 it was so fun back then.

partyline was good when you were bored. but not so cool when you really needed privacy and you could hear others breathing and listening in.

now I remember having a party line (where you have 2 or more households on the same telephone line instead of individual lines for each house) but as for ever calling a party line ..... nope

yeah,one of my school mates was on the same party line as me.my friends would come over & we would have a blast messing with them talking to each other
