The effect very because there are different types of female circumcision.

- Is it legal?
In the US, no the same in lots of other country’s but it is done in about 20 other country’s these countries include: Iraq, Africa, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey but Egypt has now banded it.

There are about 3 different types of it and they could be many more, here are the 3 main ones I know about
- Sunna circumcision, This involves the removal of the tip of the clitoris and/or its hood or covering (prepuce).
- Clitorectomy circumcision, This is the removal of the entire clitoris and the adjacent labia (the external and internal folds of skin, or lips, that protect the vaginal opening).
- Infibulation circumcision, This procedure involves performing a clitorectomy, including the removal of the labia. The tissues are then sewn together, leaving only a small hole for the flow of urine and menstrual blood. In many cases, a second procedure is necessary later to allow for sexual intercourse.

Short Term health effects - It has gone underground, at times with people who have had no medical training performing the cutting without anesthetic, sterilization, or the use of proper medical instruments. When performed without any anesthetic, can lead to death through shock from immense pain or excessive bleeding. The failure to use sterile medical instruments may lead to infections.

Long term health effects - urinary and reproductive tract infections, caused by obstructed flow of urine and menstrual blood, various forms of scarring and infertility. The first time having sexual intercourse will often be extremely painful, and infibulated women will need the labia major to be opened, to allow their husband access to the vagina. This second cut, sometimes performed by the husband with a knife, can cause other complications to arise. They will never achieve an orgasm.

These effects are basically the same in male circumcision; new borns are very really given an anesthetic for male circumcision. 1000's of boy's each year die from it. The US will never ban male circumcision they make far too much money out of it. Circumcision is a quarter-billion dollar a year industry in the US ALONE.

Why do you desire to have (the superb) part of your penis decrease off? maximum men interior the international (a minimum of two/3) do no longer, and could do violence to anybody who tried to do it to us. There are hazards in touch in being circumcised, as in the different surgical treatment. They contain an infection, too plenty epidermis bumped off, and unsightly visual allure - assuming you're having a doctor do it in a medical putting. If by making use of "choose for circumcision" you propose connect a team interior the bush to have it chopped off by making use of an previous guy making use of a single blade, the risks are plenty bigger, alongside with death from bleeding, an infection and HIV. The comments of effects on sexual exhilaration are mixed. some men say it made no distinction. some say they like the better sensitivity of the uncovered head (regardless of the undeniable fact that years of exposure could replace that for the greater serious). Others say it grew to become into the worst selection they ever made of their lives. you haven't any longer any way of telling which of those communities you will fall into. the approach that eliminates the least is the superb.

Female circumcision is a horrible abuse carried out on young women so they will not enjoy sex with men. It is a brutal act in some cultures where a young girl is held down by several other women and her clittoris nerve bundle is cut from her body.
She is given nothing to alleviate the pain, they usually use any 'sharp' object they can find with no sterilization, and the women can bleed to death very easily, or can die of horrible infections. The sharp object is usually a peice of jagged glass from a broken bottle, or some sort of metal.
Men in these cultures often refuse to marry a girl whom has not had the procedure done. So, women are forced to either remain unmarried or be circumcized.
Thank God I was born in America and do not have to endure what my sisters in these parts of the world endure. We should all pray for women around the world who are oppressed and abused. Thank an American soldier for preserving our freedom and protecting us from this type of abuse.

It is called female genital mutilation. It is a part of some religions in other parts of the world. It is when the clitoris is removed and the vagina is closed almost all the way. Only when the girl marries is the vagina opened back up. This is to keep her a virgin until she is married. The removal of the clitoris removes all sexual stimulation, therefore keeping the woman faithful to her husband. In many parts of the world they are trying to make it illegal, but as with any medical procedure, there is always one doctor that will perform it illegally. It is considered child abuse and is illegal in the US.
