I personally don't understand it myself. The guy is last in all of college football in terms of offense. How he has so much support is a surprise. Who knows maybe the ND fans know more than us.

He should be, but he won't be. Because he's a Notre Dame alumnus, he gets support from the alumni that Tyrone Willingham never got. Notice how Notre Dame fans blame the whole thing this season on Willingham, but didn't give him any credit for the previous two seasons. Weis is actually a perfect fit for Notre Dame, which as a Michigan fan makes me very happy.

Charlie took them to 2 BCS bowl games in his 3 years... Willingham had 0. It wasn't just one bad year that gave Ty that record... it was 3.

NO!!! This year is a rebuilding year. Give Jimmy Clausen some time and give him some players to work with and theyll be fine. Notre Dame will always be Notre Dame.
Austin N guy needs to stop putting USC fight song on every question. Its getting annoying

They (ND) would never admit this sort of mistake so quickly but it is so great to watch. Three years is plenty of time for him to have had his own supposedly better players in the program as sophomores and juniors. They knew three years ago that Brady was going to graduate last year and he still didn't have a plan, was the plan really to be waffling between two young prospects behind a subpar O-line? Laughable. There is no rebuilding, look at what Ohio State lost off of last year's team, three first round picks and the heisman winner and where are they now?
This clown was supposed to walk into recruits homes with the super bowl rings and the story about grooming Tom Brady and they were supposed to be crawling over each other to get to ND, yeeeeah...guess not.
And regarding those BCS games both of them all we heard was "Oh give a mind like Charlie Weiss four weeks to prepare and his team is at an almost unfair advantage" only to have OSU and LSU absolutely drop the hammer on them. I love watching this thing crash and burn, on their own network no less.

Heres the thing, everyone keeps saying its a rebuilding year for ND, but Weiss knew Quinn was leaving eventually, and to me it seems he didnt plan well enough ahead. This team shouldnt be as bad as they are ! should he be fired yes, will he , no !

Yes fire that fat slob.
Plus his 20 wins came from a program that Tyrone Willingham built.
