How is it possilbe that once again he gets away without a penalty for the tyres sanction? McLaren are fined 15,000 euro but nothing happens to Hamilton no matter what.

Also, How come McLaren used those tyres on Hamilton and not Alonso.

Is this proof that McLaren are giving Hamilton the edge over team mate Fernando?

How does a true fan want the championship to be decided because of some silly wet tire rule that has no outcome on the race? Im a ferrari guy, but i want to see kimi win the title on the race track, racing against lewis, not back into the title because lewis is penalized for some silly rule. YOU are not a true race fan because true fans want the sanctioning body to stay out of determining the results of the race unless someone was truly cheating and in somehow tainted the outcome. As much as it pains me to say, but like Michael tried to do to Villuenve.

It's been a mad, mad season. I don't know about the FIA but Bernie definitely thinks Hamilton deserves to win the title. Did he influence the FIA? God knows. Alonso has already stated that the team favours Hamilton and Hamilton himself fanned the fire by saying the team would prefer if he wins the title.

But I don't understand why would McLaren do such a thing as to help Hamilton but at the same time would destroy his race by breaking the rules. Ignorance perhaps? Or is there somehting more sinister brewing beneath the surface? Heh heh. Definitely a crazy season

Yes, i agree that FIA wants Hamilton to win, but why do they want Hamilton to win? Will his success make F1 a more popular sport? Will it save the British grand prix from dying? Will his win increase fans in Britain? Why is FIA doing this?

I don't know.

It is said that Bernie claims that Hamilton will make a good champion. Bernie says that Kimi is too quiet and sticks to his business if he becomes champion and Alonso does not do anything else outside of racing. Media claims that Bernie would rather have Hamilton as a champion than the other two.

Note: Kubica should have not been punished for that incident in Fuji, It is not fair.

no longer agreed. there have been different drivers that have won 'breaks' from th FIA or race stewards. they're consistently debatable in nature. Alonso replaced into no longer further to the team at Mclaren to be no. 2 driving force to a rookie. He has honestly been outperformed. In mild of the present team drama that's the only factor attainable approximately this season. i do no longer honestly know who else Hamilton can particularly outcontinual different than Alonso, because of the fact the two drivers have get entry to to the communities materials. Hamilton extra effective used them.

I don't know about you guys but I've had just about enough of the crap coming from Bernie and the FIA. I absolutely agree with 24fan. No offence to any McLaren fans here but Ron and Alonso are not only slipping they're making tons of people fed up. Just get on with it, we want to watch battles on the track.

Does it matter ? First it was lewis getting all the treatment. Now its mclaren giving alonso treatment by making silly mistakes. I think mclaren or ron or whoever finds that if lewis win, he might get big headed about it. But i'm not the one to decide that. And the guy above me ^^^ is kinda right.

isnt it strange this season!! yea i think the FIA are being careful to not ruin the championship scenario by moving Hamilton down the grid.
Some would say this would increase the excitment considering that Hamilton is 4 points ahead and this grid penalty would have made it a bit more open between him alonso and kimi but i think they are really hoping for a hamilton title victory as this would be a more desirable ending scenario for the championship the rookie who took the sport by storm and the new Senna/Schumacher has arrived as formula one needs a 'special' driver as every era has had one

Yes, only a fool would deny it. This year is done. Hamilton will win and Bernie will be happy. Hamilton is good enough that he doesn't need coddling. Hopefully next season they make the rules and penalties very clear and enforce them consistantly for all the drivers.

Someone will probably call this answer racist but I don't mean it that way.
It's all down to commercial concerns. Hamilton is coloured and Ecclestone and the FIA want profit from going global. What better than a non white Champion to further this cause.

Well, yes. Bernie himself has said he wants Lewis to win. Maybe McLaren really are giving Lewis the upper hand but who knows, maybe they're actually trying to be fair. I think that they are on Lewis' side though.
