My car was towed in N. Cal around Labor Day..the signs posted were not legal according to the California Vehicle Code...according to recent news reports I have heard on similar issues, I should be due back the fee I was charged for towing. I am wondering if anyone knows the best/fastest/easiest way to investigate recovering said charges. Has anyone done this sucessfully before? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I'd get a lawyer they know all the laws and could help you the best...

You have to sue the towing company in court. Don't know if the filing fee, fee for serving them with subpoena, time spent in court and getting all the proof together will be worth it.
