The current administration is spending $500,000,000/day overseas. I assume the tax fairy will pay that off, not the tax payers.
Some of the more brainless answers you have received fit right in with the profile developed for the bush-davidian cult, a supset of my Republican Party. In order to be a bush-davidian you need to believe the following, without question;
1. Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of
homosexuals and Hillary Clinton
2. Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad
guy when Bush's Daddy made war on him, a good guy when
Cheney did business with him, and a bad guy when Bush
needed a 'we can't find Bin Laden' diversion.
3. Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is
Communist, but trade with China and Viet Nam is vital
to a spirit of international harmony.
4. The United States should get out of the United
Nations, and our highest national priority is
enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.
5. A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her
own body, but multinational drug corporations can make
decisions affecting all mankind without regulation.
6. The best way to improve military morale is to
praise the troops in speeches, while slashing
veterans' benefits and combat pay.
7. If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents
won't have sex.
8. A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our
longtime allies, then demand their cooperation and
money.
9. Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound
policy, but providing health care to all Americans is
socialism. HMO's and insurance companies have the
best interests of the public at heart.
10. Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are
junk science, but creationism should be taught in
schools.
11. A president lying about an extramarital affair is
an impeachable offense, but a president lying to
enlist support for a war in which thousands die is
solid defense policy.
12. Government should limit itself to the powers
named in the Constitution, which include banning gay
marriages and censoring the Internet.
13. The public has a right to know about Hillary's
cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is
none of our business.
14. Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a
crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then
it's an illness and you need our prayers for your
recovery.
15. Supporting 'Executive Privilege' for every
Republican ever born, who will be born or who might be
born (in perpetuity.)
16. What Bill Clinton did in the 1960's is of vital
national interest, but what Bush did in the '80's is
irrelevant.
17. Support for hunters who shoot their friends and
blame them for wearing orange vests similar to those
worn by the quail.

Because they aren't the 'spend into debt' type--like the GOP has always been.
To them, the "lower taxes=more money in your paycheck" is what they think will keep the economy going.
But while they do that, they increase debt spending to ungodly levels, and expect someone else to foot the bill for their spending sprees.
And all the while, any REVENUE collected (unevenly I might add) isn't *enough* to even parlay part of the national debt or federal deficit off.
So they have to spend MORE money, tax everyone but their rich compadres--and go on accusing Democrats of being the 'tax and spend' kind of politician.
The DOOM AND GLOOM variety.
But war for oil and profit? Hey! Works for me! lol
That's the GOP mantra these days.
And while they do that, people like me are faced with this reality:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071019/ap_on_bi_ge/stretching_paychecks;_ylt=AmiW4QEeEcecKJStiD7Lr8Os0NUE
But you won't HEAR the GOP touch base on this issue.
To them, it's a 'non-issue'--not even worthy of their time.

Ok I'm going to pick apart your absolutely absourd question:
Your headline question: From a multitude of sorts. The first one Democrats continually speak of rolling back the bush tax cuts. Meaning that people would pay more taxes.
"The poor are already taxed pratically to death"
HuH? Are you seriuos here? Cause if you had half a brain you'd know this is false. Poor don't pay taxes. Middle class and rich pay taxes. top 10% of the nations tax payers pay 50% of the tax burdern.
Uhh to adress your second topic. You want to spend MORE money on things like those programs. More money means MORE taxes. Simple as pie. You want universal heath care. That would cost Trillions. Even on a really bad the war in Iraq hasn't even come close to touching those numbers!
Last part: Uhh Regan had done that Bush Sr. tried but democrats threatened to shut down the govt.
Social programs ie. welfare in one sence or the other medicare/social security/ take up 2/3 of the govt budget. 2/3! with a buget of trillions of dollars the WAR's you want to not spend money on are a drop in the bucket compared to how much is already spent on social programs.
Democrats can not fund thier social agenda without raising taxes. You just get by cause it's only taxing the "Evil" Rich. You people make me sic. Sic and insane! I can't believe i even try to talk to you.

How could anyone that gets in NOT raise taxes
George W Bush
has saddled the country with a 9 TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT
someone will have to pay it off
seeing as though the only ones that can afford an increase are the ones that GWB gifted with the Largest tax cut on the rich in decades, they should pay it back

They probably do want to raise taxes, but every empire, the last one being the USSR, had their downfall from running up huge debts on military conquest. The Afghans and Muslim nations laugh at us that they will bankrupt us like the bankrupted the Soviet Union

You have a point; right now it seems like everybody just wants to spend and spend with no regard to the deficit and the national debt.
Historically though, it is when the Democrats have been in power (Dem Pres & Dem Congress) that taxes have gone up the most. If you will listen closely to the candidates running now, several of the Dem candidates freely admit that they will either discontinue tax cuts at their current levels (which amounts to a tax increas) or that increased taxes (usually they say on the rich, but they mean middle class) may be necessary to fund some of their programs.

History and experience. NO change.
Wars & military budgets have always been there.
Except when Bubba blew up Iraq after Saddam
(Persian Gulf War) then attempted to reduce our
forces , including close Pearl Harbor??
The Democratic Congress has been spending more
time on pet projects than balancing a budget. 100 days
of? Political wrangling?
Then Hilary has warned we have to give alittle... etc etc?
SO, as stated above. Because they said they would. Thanks.

Well when I hear tax increase, I freak. With all of the taxes taken out of my pay ( Middle class) I bring home about 50 percent. Any thing more than that and I may have to quit working.

LOL, they tell you they're going to and you vote for them. In reality they shouldn't spend any money into schools or hospitals. They cannot run any business right. All money should go to the military to keep its citizens safe and us citizens (privatize) can take care of ourselves.

It's just propaganda. On the other hand there are Republicans who care about schools and health care and who are not war mongers. I'm trying not to do the same thing to them.
