While I'm glad he's giving some money to charity, I don't find that I have it in my heart to congratulate him. He's a multi-millionaire, and he knows other millionaires. The dude makes like $750,000 a week - I don't think it was a great effort or anything to raise that kind of cash.
Again, glad he did it, but I noticed that we don't generally sing the praises of all the other people who give their money to charities, at least not individually. Eventually, even the richest folks realize, hey, I don't necessarily need that second walk-in humidor - I could give this money to those nice researchers at the Mayo Clinic instead, or even to the children of fallen Marines, which might make me feel a little bit better when I light up my next smuggled Havana.
And to be honest, I just don't like the man. I think he inspires the worst in some of his minions and lackeys. He runs a successful business, which is great and all, but it's predicated on his truthfulness and integrity, which I believe he sorely lacks. I feel sorry for him, since he clearly is struggling with his addiction to painkillers, but it does make his earlier statements about drug users seem more than a little bit hypocritical.
I'm also not a big Harry Reid fan, for that matter - I think he's a liability to the Democratic party.

Limbaugh does more suitable for charity than maximum Hollyweirdos who make $25 million for undesirable video clips. satirically, Democrats are those who call all and multiple else stingy, yet donate the least.

Congratulations for getting an oil company to give you 4.2 million for you to buy Vicodin. Darn shame you will never actually let anybody see you give the money to vets.

Selling Little Dirty Harry's letter that was an assault on Free Speech on Ebay was a stroke of genius.

What charity??? When and for what? I am surprise I have not heard about it. That guy like to blow his horn.
If he did, great!! But he needs to do more. He has done and said too many bad things for me to completely feel OK with him.

I think it's fantastic and I applaud him. But, he should've been more humble about it. It's never good to boast.
