i need emails to show up at the time i send it which is eastern but gets there showing pacific time. how can i fix that? again computer clock is right....

your time is right, but you time zone setting is wrong. Click the 2nd tab it the Time properties window and change it.

The times shown are from the perspective of the recipient, but also may be affected by the network servers it goes through (i.e., you might send it at midnight, but it gets to your e-mail's server a few seconds or moments later, and then to the destination shortly after that).

Unless your computer indicates the wrong timezone (which you say isn't the case), then there is nothing else you can do about it, so forget about it (hardly anyone reads the date/timestamp these days!).

The time of the e-mail server is probably different from your computer time.
