I am having the hardest time finding drapes that I like...I cant figure out why I cant find anything, I see drapes in the store that are beautiful so i buy them and bring them home, hang them and they are ugly. Here is the most recent set I just purchased today...I need to keep them drapes closed during the winter because it gets really really cold here (35 below zero) and if i keep my drapes shut it stays warmer in my house. Tell me what you think of these ... they were expensive i paid $225.00 for them because they are lined for winter.

I thought these would look great in that room! A solid is just too plain with the rest of the things I see in the room. I hope you like it.

Return the drapes and go with a bold color, like maroon, deep green or a deep navy blue. that room needs to be "punched" up a bit with color. Then try to pick up some matching throw pillows and a throw blanket for the back of the couch to pull it all together. Looks like you are trying too hard to match the tans, and definitely iron them to get the wrinkles and fold lines out. Try to find a more tailored drape at the top, instead of that foot long overhanging ruffle at the top.... and try hanging them on a drapery rod instead of a curtain rod..If you keep them shut all winter anyway, why don't you get some of that shrink wrap stuff that you put on the windows and hit it with the blow drier to seal it.... that will help with the cold too.....Good luck...

Yes on the wrinkles, but you don't need to take them to the cleaners they would charge a bundle> You can by a steamer used for traveling to get out wrinkles or use a steam iron and use just the steam. Pass the steam over the wrinkle then let it dry, it may take a couple of passes to remove the wrinkle. You do this while its hanging.

I think they are okay. I agree that they would look better with the wrinkles out. Also, you might try to dress it up a bit with maybe something draped across the top, like maybe some fake ivy. or get some really cute tie-backs to pull them open when it's not really cold out.

They've fine, but I'd suggest steaming them or taking them to the dry cleaner to get the wrinkles out. They would look much better once they aren't wrinkled.

Definitely get the wrinkles out. It will make them hang so much more nicely.

They don't look that bad. They would look better if you cut that 1ft long overhanging fabric off. And I think ironing would also help them.
