because during spirit week its decades day..and i want to dress up 80's but i want something affordable and cheap. any ideas? thanks!<3

Neon colors were huge in the 80's, a big t-shirt that says "Frankie Says" for Frankie goes to Hollywood. Minis skirts, big hair, neon jewelry and large earrings!! Big plastic pink or orange circles with the spikey bangs are good.I bet if you go to Google and put 80's in "images" you will get a lot of pictures. Also you could look up "The Breakfast Club", or "St. Elmo's Fire" for clothing ideas - good luck!

YouTube Maddonna's Lucky Star video and dress how she is dresses there. Most of that stuff you can probable find at a second hand thrift store like Goodwill or The Salvation Army.

You can wear leggings (the short ones that they are wearing again) under a short skirt, big shirt (mens dress shirt) with an oversized belt, big earrings, lots of bracelets and long dangling necklaces. Pumps with white lace little girl socks, big hair and blue eyeshadow is a must.

A few years ago my friends and i did this when we went to KMHS. We wore hot pink long sweatshirts (not hoodies) and cut them shoulder to shoulder..we wrote '80's ladies' on the front. We wore black spandex under them. Wear either high-top chuck taylors, or those tall reebok sneakers (if its age appropriate, bright pumps). then gloves with the finger part cut off. Also, curl your hair then tease the curls. Wear alot of make up and lipstick. Also, chunky necklaces (crosses) and bangles. alot of big rings too! Think of madonna as your inspiration.

To see the "look" go on You Tube and watch anything by Bananarama or Kim Wilde. Another good example is Madonna, try "Like a virgin" or "Holiday".
It's basically tight leggings, vest tops or baggy T shirts and Big Hair. Leg warmers are optional.

Bright colors! BIG hair or put a pony tail on one side of her head. Lots n lots of bracelets(Madonna wore the rubber ones) Big hoop earrings,blue eyeshadow,leg warmers
