After being out on a sholder injury for 2 and 1/2 years. I decided against surgery (personal reasons) and i am now trying to return to work with the company with restrictions from my dr. (can not lift over 5 lbs and no repetitive movement. I doubt they will be able to find something there for me with those restrictions.. what would happen next??

If you can not do your regular job with the restrictions, they may invent another , or put you somewhere that works for them within the guidelines of your Dr. If you can't work at the job you are trained for with the current injuries their is the possibility of retraining (vocational rehab) on work comps dime. Re educating you to do something else (pay you to go to school)

I think that you should look for a job that does not require lifting and does not require repetitive movement on the side that was injured. Repetitive movement on the other side should not be a problem.

since your refusing surgery to hopefully fix your problem or to make it more manageable, and the company doesn't have a position for you, you would more then likely lose your job and because your refusal to have surgery, Workman's comp would quit too.
