I would like to rediscover my sex drive, but I don't want to get off the pill. Can anyone recommend anything that might help me do that? Don't say chocolate!

get off the pill. or at least switch brands, there is no way around it. I've tried 3 diff. pill brand and nuvaring and they all do the same thing to me. Plus I am allergic to latex so I'm totally out of luck, lol. Seriously though, try another pill, your doc can suggest one.

Girl, I'm with you. I'm on Yaz now, and my libido isn't quite as non-existant as on other pills. I have fewer side effects, but it's still definitely not as good as when I'm not on the pill. You can just try some different brands (probably low dose) until you find one that's good for you. If you find anything that works for you, let me know! I'd love to have my sex drive back.

Talk to your doctor about going on a different Pill. Some people have different reactions to mono-phasic versus tri-phasic pills, and it might just be a matter of the pill you are taking not being compatible with your body.

Keep in mind, if your doctor puts you on a new one, you'll go through the brief period where you can get pregnant while taking it, and that your skin and weight might react differently to the change. Good fortune to you!

Far more important is to have the support and understanding of a partner who wants to help you defeat the problem - and who understands how to get you excited in bed. At present, drugs are do much relevance to the average woman who wants to pep up her libido a bit. I tried one to boost my sexual drive, and it really worked! Small dose of testosterone creme (by prescription -- the doc. will see if it is contraindicated for the kind of pill you are on).

Try switching the brand you use. I had the same problem, switched brands, and all better now. :D
