I don't think that he is comparing the rain to a flame exactly. I think that he is referring to the speed of the flame, more than anything. So, he is saying that the rain is coming down really hard, similar to the speed of an armageddon flame.

It is comparing the manner in which the rain is falling...the rain is falling like flames during armageddon would be falling

Because everytime it rains, not only falls armageddon's flame BUT YOU ask the SAME question yet once again! ;P

You're questions are like armageddon's flame.
They're as loud as the sound of the falling rain.

Holiday is basically a metaphorical song that is trying to show Bush's reign.

Im not sure. But to me it is like . People are being forced to live the lifestyle. Bushs reign is like living in hell. He has created a really bad world for us. And it is saying his reign has made rain turn into flame.

I am pretty sure that this song is about Bush. because of stuff like "Zieg Hail to the president gasman" which compares bush to Hitler.

So those were my interpratation of that line, i thought that because when you hear of a tyrant ruler. You get the vision of a evil leader standing on top controlling his people, and it is fiery everywhere.. :D

Hope that helped :D
