Ask the judge, not us.

Depends if your attorney is court appointed. Tell your current attorney you want to change attorneys and have him to file a motion to remove himself and a continuance. It is entirely up to the Judge if he will allow the continuance. He/She may look at it as a way for you to stall the process. Even if that isn't the case. Good Luck.

a continuance is only applicable if your attorney moved for it. if you fire your lawyer then the judge may defer the hearing until you have appointed a lawyer of your choice. thats the right to have a counsel.

Possibly. It's up to the judge to make this decision.
