He wants to make an innocent guy at the Justice Department into a major racial issue for saying the truth - minorities, as a group, generally die earlier than whites; therefore, Voter ID laws that impact the elderly impact whites more than blacks. I don't think that statement is bigoted or racially offensive at all. Obama just wants Big Al's goons to get behind his campaign.

do you think his problem is with the guy in Justice said, or do you think the root of Obama's problem is that the guy from Justice sided with the State of Georgia in wanting voters to have picture ID's. I mean, picture ID's makes it harder to vote 4,5 0r 6 times in an election.

It is a fact--that minorities die on the average before whites. If stating a fact is "racist" now, then Obama and everyone else can eat their own minority ****.

His comment also targeted the elderly people as well. Tsk, tsk, Obama will never be president in the future now. What, his he Sharpton's cousin?

I don't think he should be fired but the man did say "minorites don't get to age as white people do, they die first". It is well document that blacks die earlier than whites but what Tanner said implies minorites don't get to old age. I don't think he is a racist but I can understand partly why Obama is angry about it.

Didn't you hear his speech when he said there would be racial riots if he wasn't elected or did you know he used to keep up a racist web site? With this and the fact he is the son of a Muslim, I wouldn't trust him with Hillary's life.
