No. That's just the scheduled release date for Earthplay 3, that synthetic reality game that allows transcendental beings to imagine they are mere mortals with bigtime problems.
You might notice a few bugs when it's introduced, but it was specifically scheduled for an election year to help explain away weird events.

the sky cant really "fall" cause the sky that you see is basically air. or if you're talking about farther beyond, it the outer space and it's a vacuum.
