my Question is:
wat is the best programming language for a biggner to start with? having a bit of background on visual basic and HTML.
but should he begin with somthing simple like visual basic HTML or C or C++ or Java?
wat would be most suitable so he could learn bit by bit then maybe get more proffessional?
needed for designing applications (games :)) and Websites!!
Do u have an experience in programming languages?
Or could u give me sometips?
Thanks a lot.

Actually, Pascal. Very C-like in its structure and is frequently used in C++ as inline code. The verbs are almost exactly alike and it is a good stepping stone to C. Jumping into C right off without some grounding in a complex language will be tough.
He needs to learn to write solid code without worrying about the GUI at this time. The GUI is easily enough mastered and an IDE like Visual Studio practically makes it a no-brainer. But it's easy to get lost creating fancy GUIs instead of working with the nuts and bolts and that's where the work is actually done. Once he gets comfortable with the code itself he will not only pick up the GUI-creation fast he'll be able to modify it more readily since he'll understand the underlying code better.
HTML is a scripting language; okay enough for getting one's feet wet but without some Java, ActiveX or other coding, it's not at all a stepping stone to C/C++. VB is a start and not a bad one but the ump from VB to C/C++ is pretty big, thus the suggestion of Pascal.

He maybe seeking to say that you just have got to gain knowledge of programming procedures and good judgment, as a substitute than languages. This particularly is principal, too. For example, being equipped to keep a talk in 15 human languages does not imply you'll be able to write an top notch paintings of literature in any of them; and a particularly good written application is similar to a particularly good written publication, in that it demands to have many constituents that have compatibility in combination in non-seen however robust approaches.

The best way to learn how to make websites is by using one of the tutorials on http://www.w3schools.com/
They are NOT the w3, but they have great tutorials.
As for learning programming languages, I'd suggest C# or Java. You can find a lot of books that teach these subjects at a store like Barns & Noble.

HI
You are targetting programming for games and web-sites. I think you should Learn Java that will help you in both fields perfectly (Games and web sites). Java is pure Object oriented programming language, though a bit difficult but with a little more hardwork you can learn it.

Before learning any programming languages you should learn (x)HTML & CSS. Your first programming language should probably be JavaScript then you will be able to create DHTML pages at least.
From there you may want to learn C++ or C# for game development or PHP for web programming such as database integration.
You will need some background with MySQL or Microsoft SQL as well.

Programming languages are like tools, you need to pick the right one for the right job. PHP might be a good place to start.
