Kind of but I actually didn't show good manners until I got a little older. My kids however are very polite. They always say please, thank you, and sorry when needed. I think its because I make sure I say those things to them. So maybe me and their dad rubbed off on them.

Yes! And I take pride that they did.
I dont have typical american parents. My father is Canadian and my mother is Colombian. Mix those 2 different culters together and you get a kid with good manners & morals.
i dislike rude people..

I think they did. I do remember my father saying on occasions that "children should be seen, but not heard"....and I sometimes wonder if that helped to turn me into the quiet guy I am today....but I am also not sure if he really meant it.

absolutely, but unfortunately they didn't stick. i don't have very good manners. yesterday as i was leaving school i hocked a big loogie out the window of my car in front of people. it made me laugh. lol.

Yes, they did. I actually got teased in school because I would say "Yes Ma'am", "No Ma'am" to the teacher...
