lately he had been lacking at the plate.
hes awesome defensively tho, has awesome range!

Honestly I like Ellisbury should go in for him, not as great defensively but a spark at the plate!

I think the Red Sox should give him another chance and keep him next year. Although Jacoby has shown he's very good he still need some development. I've seen him swingling nervously at bad first pitches, running on pitch outs, and other things he could work on in the minors. But right now we're taking him out for game 6 to see how Ellsbury will do. Besides, Coco's defense is priceless, even if it costs the lack of a bat.

MY OPINION IS THAT IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT *HE* DOES AT THE PLATE BECAUSE BOSTON HAS A BUNCH OF OTHER BIG BATS. BUT THEY SHOULD AND THEY WILL KEEP HIM BECAUSE HE IS ARGUABLY ONE OF THE TOP 3 DEFENSIVE CENTER FIELDERS IN THE AL (ICHIRO SUZUKI ,TORI HUNTER, AND COCO CRISP) I MEAN IF NOBODY KNEW THIS, HIM AND ICHIRO ARE THE ONLY 2 IN THE ENTIRE MLB THAT HAD ONLY 1 ERROR THE ENTIRE SEASON WITH 130+ GAMES STARTED. AND HE IS PRETTY FAST, I BELIEVE HE WAS SECOND ON THE TEAM IN STOLEN BASES BEHIND JULIO LUGO. AND HE LED THE TEAM IN SACRIFICE BUNTS. ALL HIS DEFENSIVE WORK, BY FAR, HE IS THE BEST *DENFENSIVE* CENTER FIELDER IN THE AL EAST DIVISION. AND HIS SPEED, ALONG WITH THE SACRIFICES DEFINETLY MAKES UP FOR HIS NOT SO GOOD SKILLS AT THE PLATE. BOSTON WILL KEEP HIM

ps: everyone has big slumps at the plate. its not something new that someone has gone through this...

I think he should start advertising cereal.

Boston should find a better hitting center fielder in the off season.

Crisp is a good fielder, but he lacks way to much hitting skill to start in center for the Red Sox.

Ellisbury is the center fielder of the future. Crisp won't be around for very long. he did well this season so I sure the red sox find him a nice new home. I know crisp wouldn't want to ride the bench.

Yes.

I know he's been hitting horribly lately, but in the regular season he hit .268. I know that's not great, but it's respectable. I'll willing to take a .268 average if along with that comes the defense that Crisp brings to center field.

he was pretty good this year in season but in post season he been a lilttle off with his timing. he defense is still good and has still the best runner to do a bunt and steal once in a while. but he getting older as year goes by and elsibury should replace him in at least another 2 year if not when he get traded.

I think he is over rated along with JD Drew. Boston should get rid of them both.

he is an amazing fielder, but could not hit the ocean if he fell out of a boat. the redsox should probably start ellsbury over coco.
