I am more conservative then republican so I find her ideology and way of thinking to be very troubling to say the least. I've watched government grow in the last 30 or so years and take on more and more responsibility for our personal lives. I watch government fail and waste money in almost all of its programs like Education. Yet people like Mrs. Clinton think even more government control is needed and higher taxes on all of us so she or they can re-distribute our hard earned money as she sees fit. Her goal is to make everyone equal (except her and those around her). I'm not rich by any stretch of the imagination yet I do OK for my family. According to her agenda one of the first things she promises to get rid of the Bush tax cuts. For those of us who work that will mean a hefty chunk of change taken away from us. I am in the 40 to 50 k a year bracket and am looking at between a 5 and 6 thousand income tax increase. If she or any liberal democrat for that matter is elected it will stifle small business and stagnate the economy. They, the liberals will never understand that socialism just doesn't work never has and never will. They just think it hasn't been tried by the right people. I have a lot of issues with Bush but one thing he did get right is that he understands that it's us the people who keep this country going and growing. When I heard Hillary Clinton say "well I certainly think the free market has failed it sent shivers down my spine. No time in history have we put more money into the government cofferes due to a healthy economy.I could ramble on for hours but will stop here with just one more thought..... the bigger we let government become the smaller we become as individuals.

I can list you enough reasons that anyone with any amount of civic responsibility should NOT vote for her... that it's scary that anyone is planning to.
Your pollster is wrong, that is coming from the Clinton camp, which is notorious for lying... both about other candidates and about Hillary. She carefully weeds out those who interview her so she can take softball questions... never having to take and tackle the hard ones. She won't stand a chance in any debate... but here are some things that might be hard for any of her supporters to justify their support of her after considering...
1. She has never run anything... not even a business. She was never a Mayor, a Governor, or any other such position. She is just not qualified to do the job, and the fact that she drastically underestimates the cost of her healthcare debacle, according to real fiscal experts, is proof. In the final analysis, she has been blind to Bill having HOW MANY affairs and you think she can run the country with any amount of awareness?
2. She refused to answer Grand Jury questions about Whitewater... as the First Lady. Does she think she's above the law? Do you want to vote for someone who believes she is not subject to the same rules we are? How can you justify the fact that she's never had to answer for Vince Foster's mysterious death at a crucial time... just before things were about to go to trial? I'm not saying SHE killed him, but how can you be blind to the suspicious circumstances?
3. Representing NY, she attended the 9/11 Memorial Service in September of 2001. President Bush was speaking about the brave men and women lost on those flights, in those buildings and working the rescue/recovery. Hillary was giggling like a schoolgirl and having a sidebar conversation... caught on camera... is this the Hillary Clinton you support? Do you really even KNOW Hillary Clinton? If you're voting for her just because she's a woman... wow, are you ever in for a surprise!
4. Oh, wait. I'm SURE you know about Sandy Berger and the sensitive documents he stole out of the National Archives for the Clintons. This isn't an accusation, this is a matter of documented fact. He's never taken the court-ordered polygraph test that he was supposed to... disclosing what was in those documents... and Hillary just appointed him as an 'informal advisor'. Are you blind to what this is about, too? Can you support a candidate who hires a convicted felon as an advisor?
5. Hillary can't seem to keep ONE position on just about anything and that isn't going to change if she were elected.
For the war, against the war... this is just the latest in the long list of things she's switched sides on. Can we afford an indecisive President in a time when radicals are trying to kill as many of us as they can?
6. Speaking of which, she would go back on the defensive and that means we'll be attacked here in America again. We can't afford that either.
7. Speaking of affording... we can't afford her social programs and I don't want the government running my life. Only those who can't make their own decisions would! If you're yearning to have your life dictated to you, move to Venezuela or Iran, OK? Don't try to force it on me.
Look, this can go on all day. She is indefensible as a candidate and supporting her just because she's a woman is stupid... so why WOULD someone vote for her?

Are you generalizing all women here? True, the gender gap does dictate that women are marginally more likely to vote liberally (democrat), but that doesn't apply to already Republican voters. Besides, I could estimate that 25% of male Democrats won't vote for her just because she is a woman.

i'm fairly sorry you experience that way, yet your vote is your vote. Me, on the different hand, ought to no longer be persuaded via any of the Republican applicants over Hillary or Obama. i'm for my area hoping Obama receives the nod over Hillary in simple terms because of the fact i think that the sparkling face might help with relatives around the international. I propose, we could face it, the international hates us. Barack Obama seems to be the only candidate on the two area of the controversy that's keen to fulfill with leaders of Iran, Syria, North Korea, etc..... Why is diplomatically discussing international secure practices subjects (like human rights violations, nuclear weapons progression, organic materials, etc...) seen ignorant and naive? in case you do no longer communicate/negotiate with those human beings you're in result asserting that i do no longer negotiate with people who don't trust me. I propose that would not sound like a pacesetter i choose in the White homestead (lower back)!!! i think of Barack Obama is the guy to hold us lower back into the international community. there is no Republican that makes me experience heat and fuzzy approximately desirous to vote for them. for my area i'm stressful of maximum of them. the three that frighten me the main are Gulliani, Romney, and McCain. I do exactly no longer think of i'm able to take 4/8 extra years of this. that's time for a answer. optimistically we can decide for a Democrat for President and renew the strenght in the two homes so as that this next administration can accomplish some thing as a exchange of being locked in a consistent stalemate.

Some Republicans obviously voted for her husband despite the radical anti Clinton voice in the GOP.
Some real left wing Democrats can't in good conscience vote for Hillary. Shes the most hawkish of the Democratic candidates and many left wingers side with pacifism at this time mostly due to the failures of George Bush. They also feel she has too many corporate ties some go even as far as calling her Bush light or a Republican.
While I understand their objections to Hillary I think they are wrong and she's the best America can do right now.

Think the pollster needs to look at who they are talking to. I can not imagine one republican (man or women) voting for hillary. In fact, most democrats would vote for a moderate republican before hillary.

i'm a republican & i'm going to vote for her. i don't mind that the previous clinton admin pardoned a bunch of commies & kiddie porn mongers... norman hsu who? heck, i don't even care about her idolizing alinksy - she obviously realized how nuts it was - otherwise *why* would the clintons have had her thesis ["There is Only the Fight"], that should have been otherwise available to the public, [in a sense] "classified"? can you honestly prove to me that she IS, in fact, A LIAR? i dare you to pick one topic she's lied about... ya know what? you can't, so there - her contradictions aren't lies - they simply show how utterly cosmopolitan her views and opinions are! come onnn, you don't get more "unwavering" than spewing a consistant barrage of 'yes, no & maybe's (depending, of course, on WHO she is addressing at the moment - duh! it's not very politically smart to base your campaign on 'what' you're addressing!).
.
that's not even 1/4 of the things, but i'm sure y'all could add more!
.
so YES, despite it all - i will vote for her. yes, i am a republican - but i am first and foremost, "a bytch"... err, i mean "a woman", yah. it's about equality for the masses, comrade... it's about making masses out of the meritless & creating conflict between the classes & obtaining power to control the pavlovs dogs you've created out of your welfare state.
.
sorry 'bout that. i been reading that paper of hers - had to rant a bit. it's nuts! it's absolutely nuts! (no pun intended, mr peanut)

To answer your 1st question is that she will represent them (republican women) better than the republican candidate. This is what happened in republican upstate New York where she won over this demographic during the 2006 Senate race.
The answer to your 2nd question is NO!

I can’t stand her for being spiritually cynical and bailing on those beliefs to appease the status quo.
Republicans will vote for her in a heartbeat.
