I know there are certain requirments to host the Big Game, but does Nashville meet any of these? It seems only a select few have been hosting lately.

I don't think Nashville meets the requirements for hotel rooms and other infrastructure, notwithstanding the weather criteria already mentioned.

Technically every city is eligible. However the NFL prefers to put it in a warm climate or a dome so all the rich people who can afford tickets won't get cold and need to wear a coat. A few years ago I think it was Washington wanted to host it and was told that its too cold. So my guess it no Nashville won't ever be chosen.

I'm from Michigan but I would love to see it outside in the snow. I would go but yeah I'll never be able to afford the tickets.

I hope the game is set there, i used to live there and it is a peaceful city, not alot of crime unlike detroit and miami. The weather is good, i believe that nashville would be eligible to host a superbowl.

Nashville has an average temperature of 36 F in January and 40 F in February. With no dome, I would say there is no chance of the Super Bowl being held there.

If the weather is under 50 degrees, I don't think that the NFL will allow The Game there, unless it's a indoor field, i.e. Ford Field in Detroit.
