Go to this website. There is a model in there of the earths crust compared to Venus that will be helpful. It is also simple enough to recreatel.

Go to the goodwill stores, value stores ,second hand stores and buy several balls of different sizes. String them with hard wire. The biggest should be hard plastic, not a soft rubber like a basketball. You can hide all of the support ( crumpled newspaper or foam) the way it is depicted in the illustration .
Good luck.

it really is the position each and every of the lava-monsters are, and they are scary heavily regardless of the truth that, we do no longer have the technologies yet to face up to the pressures, temperatures etc that are that some distance down. and when we conquer the prevailing hindrances, it in basic terms receives hotter extra down. and on top of that, there is no longer a lot down there that isn't eventually (or hasn't already) made its way into the crust. in truth, area has useful stuff in it, the centre of the earth doesnt have any genuine advantages compared to the hazards/expenses of having there

It's simple. use a hard boiled egg, carefully cut it in half. the eggshell will represents the crust, the egg white represents the mantle and the egg yolk will represent the core. =)

At walmart they sell styrofoam spheres, buy one. Then from the top to the radius, cut straight down. Then turn the sphere 90 degrees from the first cut and cut again straight down to the radius. this should leave you with 3/4's of the styrofoam left. Finally use a picture of the inside of the earth and with as much detail as possible draw whats inside. ok!

Remember the core is solid to radius about 1500 km, then
a convecting dynamo to radius 2900. Maybe you could stick
a golf ball in the center of the styrofoam for the solid core and
draw in dynamo lines in the liquid core.

Go find a foam ball, cut a quarter out of it and there you have it! Obviously paint the core red, etc., etc... Good Luck

First, get a soild sphere of iron. Surround it with molten iron. wrap the molten iron in molten silica, and top with a hard silica surface, distort the outer shell.

voila...a model earth.

Caution, it may be hot.

i would make it of different colors of play dough, ( make a hemisphere, not a full sphere, so you can see what the inside would look like)

then bake it, so you could move it around without smuching it.
