I know that a lot of Americans are against the Iraq war. And a lot of Americans think it was a mistake that the U.S. invaded Iraq to begin with. It seems like some people on the far-left in America want to see the U.S. lose in Iraq, so it will be easier for Democrats to win elections. I know that I don't want to see the United States lose another war. If the U.S. left Iraq with a stable government that was pro-Western, & was willing to help us fight Islamic terrorists then I would consider that a victory. I just think it's wrong that there are some Americans that want to see their own country lose a war, so they will gain politically.

HELLO!!! JAMES,

I agree with the part of lose in Iraq will Hurt our country just like we did in Vietnam. The world still looks at America as being weak.

I am listening to John McCain and he has said that we did not lose the war in Vietnam, we lost it in the streets of Detroit, and other places. All these years I find now from a P.O.W. that the efforts that many of us made was not in vain. John McCain is that P.O.W. 5 1/2 years. I now can say who of the Republicans that I hope is the nominee. That my Friend is Senator John McCain. Sorry I got off track but That is the way I feel about America.

The next time you hear Hillary talk I think that she is trying to say we will have to stay in Iraq and the same time she is against the war. It's all talk or should I say BS; because that is what it is.

As for traitors I agree to that it is wrong. We have one problem with that and that is the 1st amendment which they are feeding off of.

I would like to say a LOT more but I do not want to be kicked off Y/A.

STAY SAFE James,
Bulldog

If "Americans" desire us to be defeated, this is the most disturbing development since Southerners convened to secede from the union, its that serious. It weakens us as an entire nation. Americans historically came together in times of crisis, depression and certainly war. What happens when a third or perhaps half of "Americans" want us to lose? We are losing our identity as a nation, America really is no longer what our founding fathers and succeeding generations intended.
WE ARE WINNING IN IRAQ-PERIOD. END OF STORY, this cannot be spun any other way, now onto Iran.

Can you imagine Americans wishing us to cut and run from Japan or Nazi Europe during WW2? It would have made the war effort that much more difficult if not impossible & to me borderline treasonous. When you want US to lose, you won on 9-11, you win when car bombs or IED's explode killing your neighbor, you win when an Iraqi parliamentary member is assasinated, etc.

Yep that's the Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed for ya. I think people who want the US to lose in a war are traitors and should be dealt with accordingly. I don't think we should be there but hey we are there now so let's get this over and done with and win this thing. Heck we can't keep losing these wars just because a bunch of do gooders feel that it is wrong. Yeah well let's see how you feel if and when the fight comes to us. Bet you will be ready to kill, that is if they are not already dead. We have to win this thing!!

YES!!! ANyone who wants to exploit the death of 3,000+ US soldiers for political gain is a traitor and should be hung for treason! Including the democrat who said the 'a U.S. victory in Iraq is bad for the Democrat party.' Look it up, it's there somewhere.

"It seems like some people on the far-left in America want to see the U.S. lose in Iraq, so it will be easier for Democrats to win elections"

lol.... The war was lost before it began, because of the 6 "P" rule... PISS POOR PLANNING PROMOTES POOR PERFORMANCE. You have to have a goal in order to achieve it !

If taking out Saddam was the goal then I guess we won....so why are we still there !?

Seems to me we have a whole lot of people that are using the word "victory" as an excuse to stay, but neither Bush or ANYONE on that side of the fence is willing to commit to a set of goals which constitutes VICTORY !

So if the democrats get elected, it has nothing to do with the war being won or lost...there is no win or lose at this point. At this point it is not even a war...it's a failed peace keeping mission..... If dems win it has everything to do with the fact that it should have never happend, and was planned poorly to begin with.

btw- Where's OBL ???????

No. because of the fact he did no longer. Saddam had to bypass. He replaced right into a gamble to peace at each and every turn and for some years. Clinton did no longer have the balls to do it and replaced into to busy with some 2-bit intern. do no longer you undergo in strategies Saddam denying get entry to to all of the UN weapons inspectors at many diverse factors of interest on the time? i'm no longer offended, i'm proud Him and his sons are lifeless because of the fact of our efforts. edit: Thumbs down?! You human beings choose a historic previous lesson beginning from the '70's.

There is no way we could even lose the War, unless they invaded the U.S. , We've already wiped out something like 300k Iraqi's to losing 3k troops, Id say we already won the war were just sitting around trying to help them do alittle rebuilding thats all.The far lefty's in this country have no idea whats even going on over there. And the liberal media lol...thats the only reason why anyone thinks were loosing lol.

Did Republicans who wanted to withdraw troops from Kosovo under Clinton were traitors?

What about the Republicans who were against going to war with Hitler under Rosevelt?

But let me get to the rather obvious point: there is no 'winning' in Iraq. Consider: we currently support Al Queda in Lebonon, we currently arm both Shea and Sunni that often attack each other and us at the same time. We give military Aid to Saudi Arabia, who helped financed places that train terrorists, and of course the big icing on the Cake: we give military aid to Turkey who is now going to make war against our allies in Northern Iraq.

If the US never invaded, Iraq would be ruled by a 'stable government that was pro-western, & was willing to help us fight Islamic terrorists'. The sooner it leaves, the sooner that may happen, after of course, a considerable period of cooling off that, thanks to George Bush, may last a generation or two.

Congress has set itself up as treasonous with such moves as condemning Turkey for genocide against the Armenians 90 YEARS AFTER IT HAPPENED! This was done for no other reason than to cause Turkey to close our northern supply route which will, in turn, cause more Americans to die while trying to secure Iraqi freedom.

Bush has created a mess. To state the truth is not unpatriotic. We have no business in the middle east. There have been many times throughout history where governments have started problems to go to war. Could this not be one of those times? Just a thought. Attack me if you will but our greatest enemy may not be radical islam.

America may be powerful but it is selfish. If wanting to help suffering people in africa before sending soldiers to their death for nothing but selfish gain to protect what we see as "truth" makes me a traitor, then so be it. I AM A TRAITOR. America isn't the only nation on earth. We say we are freeing others from tyranny, but we have put them in a state of near anarchy. What makes us right and them wrong?

And before you call me a liberal, stop!!! I'm neither liberal nor conservative. Those are divisive terms. I am an American. DO NOT LABEL ME BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW ME!!!
