There in nothing healthy at McDonalds except for their profits.
The "meat" is mechanically recovered whish means that they blast everything off the animal's bones including fat, gristle, intestines and remaining skin then grind it up to make their burgers.
You may like the taste, and it's technically 100% meat (like they claim), but you wouldn't buy the stuff unprocessed from the butchers if you saw it on the shelf.
They they fry it - wow that's healthy, Not! (at least Burger King grill theirs so some of the meat fat drains out).
The best that you can do is to pick the least unhealthy. That's difficult. Try the ice-cream.
The BBC broadcast a documentary on McDonalds a few years ago. They even found (dead) bovine faecal bacteria in the burgers.

A little of what you fancy does you good. An old fashioned saying, yes. But for goodness sake, if you fancy a Big Mac or a cheeseburger and chips once in a while, go for it. I remember a programme on TV some time ago where volunteers of the 'healthy celebrity' kind lived on McDonald's for a week and then moaned about how their health had suffered. I had to laugh. Who goes there for 3 meals a day, 7 days a week!!!! And what a weak constitution they'd built up for themselves. How would they cope then, living on a budget, stressed out with a 9 to 5 job, not being able to afford Tesco's Finest range! 3 kids to feed and the wife's got depression and the gas has run out. I have spent my most relaxing moments with a Mackie D's. Looking out over the water or a sunset. Thinking and praying, or laughing and relaxing. Don't worry about the healthy option unless you are completely addicted! Eat and enjoy!

Any meal you want, then hold the mayo, the sauce, the bun, the burger, the cheese and the fries. have bottled water as a drink.
I think it's called the lettuce, tomato and water meal. The great thing is you can go large if you want. If you are lucky there may be a Caterpillar on the lettuce, that's the meat sorted...MacDonalds...Healthy???Come On!

Well mcdonalds isn't very healthy at all but here is what is the healthiest and ps: I get this all the time it's so yummy!
A crispy chicken salad with ceaser dressing--but beware the dressing is pretty bad so only a little or none (There is lettuce, carrots, dressing, chicken, cheese, tomatoes and things on it) And then for a side A yogurt parfait/cup there is vanilla yogurt in it with strawberries and blueberries and then granola on the side. Two words- DELICIOUSLY HEALTHY!

I like to get the side salad ($1)with the Newman's Own light vinagerette. Then get a five piece chicken nuggets ($1) and cut them up and place them on top. Total calories is about 300 and you get the fiber, vitamins, protein and a little indulgence in the chicken nuggets, which are much better than they used to be. Add a water or diet drink and it's pretty good.

When I give in and stop at McDonald's, I'm not thinking about something healthy. I need comfort food and it's going to be the chicken tenders with chipolte sauce or a mcrib sandwich. That's why I don't go there too often. Tasty doesn't always mean healthful but some days it's what my soul calls for.

Like it has been said. Just a plain hamburger, with
nothing added. The salads are a joke. But eating
just plain ground beef, is fine in moderation.

There is nothing intrinsically wrong with meat, even from Mcdonbuggerkfc. It depends on how it is fed (when still alive), killed, hung, stored, shipped, cooked and plated/packaged for consumption.
My own feeling about McDonalds is that the meat is poor to reasonable, the relish is utterly vile, the breadbuns approach the synthetic, the ambience is loud, unsettling and apt to upset digestion and that the entire experience, in terms of nutritional, mental, physical health could only be surpassed by smoking five cigarettes and then eating the ash and the butt end. Sesame seeds are optional.
Why is there such an obsession on these pages about McDonalds? The food is so manifestly vile, full of salt and fat, with contrived, chemicalised additions (relish) that its nastiness must be apparant even to those whose taste buds are permanently neutralised. At McD's, one eats warm (never hot) meat patties inside insipid buns sprinkled with tasteless seeds, accompanied by fries cut so thin that they taste entirely of fat (you can suck the fat out of the fries, and your mouth is then left with virtually nothing)
I feel that McD's eaters on this board are simply seeking permission to eat rubbish - are looking for some justification to eat this vile muck.
If you want to eat Mcdonbuggerkfc, then do so. But do not ask for healthy options. They do not exist in such outlets. Eat as much muck as you wish, but don't seek my permission to do so.
