Have you noticed that zombies only ever eat the non-zombies!
If they are so hungry all the time then why don't they attack and eat each other?

They are already dead, and zombies love warm flesh so when a person is dead there flesh becomes cold and zombies hate cold flesh. It is like eating cold pizza. Ewwww! Anyway that is why zombies don't eat each other. I watch a lot of zombie movies so I would know.

Zombie code. It also depends on which Zombie myth you are referencing. Zombies in some films and cultures, just want to eat brains. In others, they are only out to infect another person. Therefore, if the person is already infected, they have no reason to attack them again.

Because they're dead.

There's lots of reasons proposed for why zombies do what they do. Some only want brains, some go after flesh. The new Dawn of the Dead told us that they only go after humans, and not animals. Shaun of the Dead proposed that they can't tell the difference between a zombie and a living person acting like a zombie.

They rarely (if ever) feed on eachother, though.

I'd guess that they like it fresh and juicy. They're not interested in dead flesh/brains.

Zombies do not eat out of hunger. It is just their human instinct coming through. They have no real use for food.

Zombies are undead, animated flesh. Not much living protein left, which they seemingly need to survive.

Professional courtesy. The same way a shark won't eat a lawyer.
