I say choose first name that has special meaning to you too, it can be any length becuz people will rarely say all 3 names and House is not too long or complicated...

It can be as long or as short as you'd like. After all, the place/word Brooklyn is only two syllables, no matter how many extra letters you stick in there.
You do realize "Brooklynn House" is a VERY descriptive name, however? Simply sounds like you're referring to your New York home. Just a heads up!
Edited to add: I misread that as Brooklynn being the FIRST name. Sorry! :) As the middle name, especially since it has meaning (and isn't a random place name as it usually is), I don't find the descriptiveness nearly as problematic. I'd stay away from any first names that are also words, along those same lines. Scarlett House, for example, would sound like a red home. ;) And again, as far as how long the first name should be, I wouldn't worry about it. You already said you're using the middle name because it holds special significance for you, so I think any first name you truly love would be fine (short of something that happened to sound comical or something with Brooklynn House). ;) Good luck!

I would certainly keep the first name shorter in letters, but you could definately do several syllables.
I like:
Laura Brooklynn House
Brianna Brooklynn House
Kiara Brooklynn House
Katherine Brooklynn House
Skylar Brooklynn House
Savannah Brooklynn House
Caitlin Brooklynn House
You can use a name of any legnth because House is short, and Brooklynn looks long, but it only 2 syllables.
So really, anything goes!

Doesn't matter. Go for what you like. As long as they sound fine together. I know of a little boy whose name is Alexander Prentice and he has a 15 letter last name. He doesn't mind having a long name and it suits him. Just depends on the mother's preference.

I personally don't think it matters. You should just choose a middle name that you like and that goes with the first name.

It can be however long you want. My husband and I put his grandmothers, and his mothers name together to make our daughters name. (LenaKay) Whatever feels right to you and your significant other, and whatever sounds good with the rest of the name. Dont worry about "norm". Good Luck!

I like long names, that way when you baby grows up they have an option to chop it up any way they want. I named my daughter Brianna and she has the option to go by
Bri
Briann
Anna
Ann
She has a short last name too!
