Congratulations....Welcome to Womanhood.

Your mom probably has some pads around, check her bathroom cabinet. A long hot bath and some comfy clothes will help you feel better. Maybe even you pj's. I know I don't like wearing a pad with jeans that are to tight. Put the back end of the pad against the rear seam in the crotch of your panties. that way most of it will be toward the front so that as you sit or walk you've got the most room to catch drips.
If you can't find pads a papertowel will work. fold it over several times and lay it in your panties. you'll be okay for a little bit.
Don't try using a tampon until you've gotten a little older. they can hurt when you put them in and even make you sick if you don't change often enough or put them in wrong.

If you get cramops or a head ache, 2 tylenol willl help a lot.
a heating pad or hot water bottle to cuddle up with is nice too.
Put your feet up and take it easy if you can. it's a wonderful excuse to be lazy for a little while. ;-)

Honey, you need to find a pad and tampon anywhere in your bathroom. Your mom should tell you about period before, and now you have your first period. Can you call your mom or any other your family members to help you with your period.

Do what all the other ladies said, and don't be afraid, it's probably not even going to be heavy, you're not going to bleed all over the place. I used to use rolled up toilet paper when I was living at my dad's house. You'll be fine, just treat yourself nice and tell your mom ASAP.

Go to the store and buy some sanitary pads if you don't have any in the house. If you can' t get to the store just use some toliet paper or paper towels until you can get someone to get some for you.

well your mom likely still has periods, check her bathroom for a sanitary napkin and put it in your panties, then wait for her to get home to explain the rest of it to you.
