I love to plug in a good movie, make popcorn, and nestle next to my honey for the evening with all the lights out except the TV. When I'm alone and it's a dark day I turn on all the lights in the house to amp my mood. At night time I have a few dim lights when alone. I have to have it dark dark to sleep at night. As soon as I get out of bed I open all the blinds and turn on the lights in the winter!!

I enjoy sitting outside on my porch with no lights on. There is enough light to see what is going on, and not so much light that prevents you from looking up at the stars. It must be a carry-over from years spent working the mid-night shift.

depends on the kinds of mood im in. Yesterday i wanted to sit in the dark but this girl insisted on turning the lights on in the classroom (she's on my bad person list now). Today, i want the lights on.

i prefer soft lighting, like being outside on a crisp, clear night with only soft christmas lights and stars.

I love the dark. I do like candle light on occasions though. My husband hates the dark he carries a flashlight around the house. ha ha
