Dingy Harry Reid spoke in Congress today and made it sound like he was in on putting the letter on Ebay. He kept using the word "we". "We never thought that it would go that high".
If Reid gave a damn for the military he would match the funds like the so-called unpatriotic Rush Limbaugh did. That of course will never happen because Liberals don't give to charity especially a military charity.
Reid should condemn the words of Murtha "our soldiers murdered in cold blood" and Kerry "our troops terrorize women and children in the dead of night" or himself saying that the war was lost while we are still fighting. He won't because this was never about "phony soldiers" it was about the MoveOn.org add "betray-us".
Good for Rush to throw it back in their faces. Today on the Senate floor Harry Reid surrendered to Maha Rushie. Of course, he is good at surrender.

This bit of news just came out.
Limbaugh letter nets $2.1 million on eBay
Proceeds from letter blasting ‘phony soldier’ comment going to vets charity

One really has to be a Rush Limbaugh fan to buy it that price. Or their motivation was for the Marines, and Law Enforcement personel. Still the money goes for a good cause.

When I first saw the letter, I thought it was absolutely the most preposterous thing I had ever seen. It's an obvious attempt to strong-arm a private citizen through their business associates, which is bad enough in the most repressive of regimes, but to those of us that know the truth of the behavior claimed of, totally outrageous as the letter is based on a lie.
That's why it was worth two million dollars.
However, in Harry Reid's comments on the Ebay sale of the letter, he not only fails to apologize for the letter, he appears to be attempting to take credit for the money being raised.
That was definitely beyond my capacity to have imagined.
And some of you still think he's right, and just don't get it.

I like Traitor Harry (he called illegal aliens "undocumented Americans" - that an @ss). I've heard him called Dirty Harry but that insulting to Clint Eastwood. Harry was an @ss regarding the comment Rush made. Either Harry, the twit, didn't read the full comment or he hoped others hadn't read it and would just blindly follow Reid. Rush handed Harry his head! Hooray for Rush! EDIT: Hey people. It was suppose to be nicknames for Harry Reid, not Rush! Read the question dudes.

Still it's a pile of money and the left likely does not see why this is a humiliation to their cause, but that is the way they usually are blind to the end.
