All this talk about the Koran being anti-semitic when they are only a few verse (and one short chapter about the "Children of Israel" )that even talk about Jews, where as the Bible goes on and on condemning Jews for what would be considered hateful Antisemitism today?

Why are people trying to get the Koran banned for such reason when the bible itself contains much more controversial rhetoric in relation to Antisemitism?

Please just logical responses with sources. If I'm out of line let me know how and where. I have read both books and I'm really troubled with the bias going on.

No books of any kind are banned here. The bible doesn't recommend the murder of Jews. The Koran states it's mandatory.

The Old Testament is used by both the Jewish and Christian Faiths. There is nothing anti-Semitic about the Bible. Both religions share the same roots. Whether one believes Christ was the son of God or not is the dividing line between Judaism & Christianity.

No one is trying to ban the koran. It is a book nothing more. The bible is the word of god and only tells the truth. .I dont recal any ban on a work of fiction like the koran.

Seeing as the entire Bible was written by Jews about Jews and for Jews I don't see how it could be anti-Semitic.......

Jesus was Jewish my friend - which Bible did you read? The condemnation is of those that do not believe that Jesus is the son of God. Even still, they will be given a second chance whereas others will not.

The entire Bible was written by Jews.

How can it be anti-Semitic?

(Well, Luke and Acts were written by a Gentile, but he was pro-Christian and pro-Jewish.)
