Sith Lords seem to be able to beat any Jedi one on one, and only lose when there are 2 jedi and they both worked him over. Any one know of a different situation?

I can't think of any other situations, but I think that simply put, the Sith are just plain better. They don't waste time getting to all of these different codes and laws which hold the Jedi back (this is even discussed in part by both Yoda & Anikin in episode II: Attack of the Clones). They (the Sith) simply work at bettering their skills & becoming masters of the Dark Side of the Force.

: )

well they are sith lords and if you think about it the person you could come close to as a sith lord for the jedi would be yodi and nobody ever beat him really he just died of old age. Even some of the bigger jedi like mace windu was decieved so you cant count that as a fair fight.

There are two ways to become a Jedi. One, is to pass all the tests, the other way is to defeat a Sith lord. After Quigon Jinn (sp?) was killed, Obi Wan defeated Darth Maul one on one, and was automatically a Jedi.
