sorry for being a guy.. but u shave when you want to shave. Unless you're already giving it up its not like anyone is seeing it and even if ur not shaved theres nothing to be ashamed about we all have it.
On the hurting thing, maybe you shouldnt aim at 'cleaning' it off cause it really and truly should not hurt you're doing something wrong. Just keep it trim.

Shaving down there is tricky, because the hair is really coarse and its easy to get ingrown hairs. So:
Use a therapeutic shaving cream--I like Aveeno--with no scent. Really massage it into your skin.
I used to shave both up AND down, but my ingrowns got terrible, so now I just shave down. Its not as smooth, but its way less painful. You also might not want to do it every day--every other day is good.

Who in their right mind would tell you to do something like that. Your pubic hair is there for a reason, you do not shave it or wax it or anything else.

Please, your 14 you should be talking to your parents or a responsible adult not your friends and certainly not a bunch of strangers on the internet.

Why are kids nowaday's trying to grow up so fast?

Your 14 year's old. you shouldn't be shaving your vagina anyway.

if it hurts, maybe your body is trying to tell you something. Quit worring about what other girls think, and do what you want. Is the pain worth what others will think?

you shouldn't shave everything off cuz you might have in grown hairs now before you do next time just get a lofa or scrubing puff ball looking thing and go in circles then shave but once you start there's no going back

shaving has nothing to do with your age.

make sure that you are using a fresh razer with a sharp blade, that your skin is wet and exfoliated and that you are using lots of shaving cream.

Then you should have no issues.

i think that is perfectly fine. I'm 13 and I shave, so age has nothing to do with it.

If you want to shave your pubilc area. Just be careful with them. You could get burn. You could get ingrown. If I were you talk your mom about doubt this.

you shouldn't get rid of it all..
i did that and i got weird bumps around that area & some of the hair didn't come off either..
i just let it grow out and now i trim it sometimes
i'm waiting i guess till i get a bikini wax :)
