Would you ban lobbyists in all branches of the govt. ?

It is still early in the game. I am impressed however at the start the republicans have gotten. I feel that so far, they have been confronted with much tougher questions than the Democrats have been. I would love to see Democrats be confronted with the folowing:
#1 The question of just how the proposed National Healthcare will work and why they have confidence that it will not result in failure as seen in Canada and the European countries.
#2 What will be done to better guard our boarders from illegal immigrants AND what will be done to resolve the problem of the undocumented immigrants currently here. (No, granting them amnesty is not a viable solution.)
#3 What will be done to decrease our dependance on foreign oil? More specifically why do they continue to bar drilling in Alaska when they allow the American consumer is being raped by South America and the Middle East? (Researching alternative energy is not a viable solution. Its is already happening, however scientists have proven it to be not economically viable or efficient enough to meet demands.)
#4 What will be done to keep inflation low, while keeping the economy on track? What will be done to discourage outsourcing and securing American industrial and information jobs?
#5 What will be done to curtail spending and waste on the part of the federal government? Who is willing to reconsider the provisions of the welfare system and other social programs where money is being spent unnecassarilly?

How can we trust the government with any more responsibility when statistic's show the government is failing (or doing a really bad job) with infrastructure & transportation, education, social security, and tax collecting.
The news is always exposing waste of money in one government area or another ... from highway & bridge $$$ being spend on museam's to nuclear missles being lost. Many inner city schools are passing kids who can't read, write, do arithmatic ... but they expand their curriculm to sex education, evolution, art, football ... come on ... educate them on the basics before letting them do other stuff.
Then the ACLU lets all criminals out ... oh yeah, the prision in Colorado (where the scary criminals are locked up) doesn't have enough staff ... Why do we lock up pedifiles and child molesters without giving them clinical help only to release them in 5 years (WHY) ... Shouldn't prision systems separate the crimes? Drug addicts need help ... not incarseration ... they don't need to be butt - rapped because they get high ... It's insain ... Insain ... INSAIN I tell U.
WTF??? I don't wan the govt to be in control of anything ... SMALL GOVT!!!

What's your plan to improve our country's infrastructure - highways, bridges, and most importantly the railroad system. It seems the railroad has been ignored for too long and it is important to address as energy costs are high and traffic congestion in many cities is an increasing problem.

Will you support permanent tax cuts in helping to make families stronger? Since it is well know economically that tax cuts will help build jobs for the future, and what other positions would you take to achieve this?
